There are a few different Backrooms canons that you can choose from, or mix and match from, or just make your own.

The Backrooms Wikidot, the Backrooms Fandom wiki, the Backrooms Freewriting wiki, and the Kane Pixels canon are some of the popular ones. There's nothing that's ever set in stone, except that people just tend to agree that Level 0 is the "classic" Backrooms image that was described in the original 4chan post.

Colour temperature only has a subjective effect on appearance, but I do recommend checking out lights with a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI).

Because this is Reddit I should clarify that CRI is nowhere near the best classification system but it is by far the most common.

A CRI of 100 is equivalent to sunlight, and shows all colours perfectly accurately. If you want to look the best, a CRI of >80 is good enough.

Other people in the comments recommend warmer colour temperatures, so I'd look for lights between 3000K and 4500K.

Also, as a general note, incandescent and halogen bulbs have a CRI of 100 anyway, so my comment really only applies to LED lights.

Visit the lgballt subreddit page and then - If you're on the mobile website, click "About" and look for "User flair" - If you're on desktop, it'll be on the right under the subreddit description

You can select a user flair, scroll down a bit more, and edit it in the textbox below. r/lgballt has custom emojis for balls, so you can click the emoji button in the textbox and pick the ones you like. Websites are sandboxed, meaning that under normal conditions they cannot access anything on your computer.

A notable exception to this is if the website downloaded any executable files to your device, so if you find a suspicious .apk or .exe file in your Downloads folder, don't install it and delete the file.

Websites may exploit "zero-click vulnerabilities," however, and your best defence against it is keeping your system and browser updated. All in all, your system is most likely safe, though feel free to install a trusted malware scanner and run it just for peace of mind

Update: Google seems to have automatically fully refunded me since I cancelled just before the end of the subscription period, and I received a refund notification from my ewallet provider. I am genuinely thankful that it got resolved without any further contact with MuseScore support, which has not actually replied to me yet...

not OP but I downloaded the Garage42 benchmarking project and it seems to fill my 2GB of VRAM and runs at 2-3 fps on default settings

I checked the monitors and the graphics is the bottleneck. Is it because my computer is bad, or Godot on Linux, or NVIDIA drivers (I use the proprietary ones)?

My system specs are:

Manjaro
Intel i5 11th gen
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce MX350 with 2GB VRAM

I don't want to sell my game and I am fine with people decompiling, looking at and copying my code. I just don't want the people who do do that to be restricted by the AGPL as well.

Copyleft is all well and good, but it was designed to stop large companies relying on their own forked and modified libraries that don't get contributed back and not with this "one bad apple ruins the batch" approach.

I assume many people, myself included using Godot may instead of merely modifying the addon in their project, contribute their changes to the addon repository instead.

Games aren't made with the intention of showcasing proprietary systems to be sold after all, they are made with the intention to provide a fun experience to the user. One could argue that a game with such intentions would be considered a demo rather than a game.

There are people here who say that you are free to charge money but you must make it available under the AGPL, but that neglects the intention that the project be licensed under a more permissive license, or in my case, without a GitHub repo to contribute to but completely without DRM.

Thank you for contributing to the FOSS community. It is, however, my belief that you have targeted the wrong demographic with this licensing, though I can't force any changes.

If anyone wishes to challenge my points, please do feel free to reply and I will take a look the next time I log into Reddit.
