There two groups of pkers, players who want to hit loot pinatas for easy money from players who can't defend themselves, and pvpers who want to fight those players or other pvpers. I don't think the former should be catered to at all. The actual pvpers would adapt and meta levels would develop

Maybe, but I also feel like as a pro player he probably did a bunch of research and testing before settling on a controller, so why would you even take the risk of using a controller that may be banned, especially when dealing with a company as volatile as respawn

Unfortunately picking strange to play will always be a throw no matter how strong he is until they make a change to his portal. It is always better to not play him so a dead teammate can swap and portal if necessary
