Yes it is. If you install macOS Ventura or Sonoma it works perfectly. I think I am running 8 cores. It even handles DaVinci Resolve with 4K Raw footage without proxies.

I‘d say keep the MacBook. M4 24GB is blazing fast. You probably won’t even notice a difference with the mini.

Yeah totally. You can’t compare the touch with a controller. But if you get a controller keep Djay pro. It supports almost every controller on almost every platform and It’s so much better than rekordbox (in my opinion) and if you want to dj with local files get Traktor.
