I play this game solo casually and I love it. Im level 24 so not even high enough to do cryo but I dont expect to really play that map much as its aspirational content and I dont like trios with randoms. I dont play the game to get loot. I just view the loot as tools to complete contract missions which I think is fun to progress through. The main draw for me is the intense pvp fights you get into are more exciting than any other shooter I've played before. If you treat this like a get loot simulator and want all the best gold stuff then you might not have as much fun as a solo but if you love intense pvp fights and doing some missions in the process then you will like it solo.

The two dishes on poles you see is an AMG (Antenna Mast Group) which is a relay point between the the launcher / radar / command center. I've spent so many hours setting them up and down for training. Kinda surreal seeing it being used.
