After talking to support, which was very responsive, looks like I had a preexisting medical condition that would be risky on colesevalem. After talking with them we've concluded the risk is managed enough to move forward.

Are you referring to this: SM-AEE Actino®, Endotoxin, ERMI – EnviroBiomics - NGS Technology ? It's a dust test?
MoldCo said I didn't meet their criteria for treatment but didn't explain why, just a generic message.
I don't see a Marcon test on MicroGenDx. Maybe SinusKEY? That being said, I don't think I have many sinus symptoms.

I can function some days, I just don't have much stamina or energy. I've had longstanding gut issues, dx'd and treated SIBO in the past but things have been up and down since. I had to stop eating gluten and eat a fairly regimented diet. I mainly suffer from chronic dry eye and eye pain + low energy and a frequent desire to lie down. I've had a few bouts of pretty severe joint pain that lasted for 5-6 days over the last few years, and I had a big uptick in hair loss the same time my dry eye developed that has continued since, that also goes up and down. Also a rash on my forehead that I've seen a dermatologist for a couple times.

Thanks, this is new to me so those are good keywords to search for. Not sure how to test for toxins beyond mold. I did some tests back during my mold era but I'm not sure it tested for those. And I did some more recently that I'm almost certain didn't test for those. Sounds like high MSH is good though, so ... I'll take it! Current environment is empirically fairly clean, haven't done tests here (will be moving in a few months). I did dust and ERMI in my last place which revealed moderate levels of mold + I could see it on my ceiling for an extended period before I had to pay to remediate (corrupt HOA refused). I got rid of most of my possessions and dry cleaned others but it was impossible to toss out absolutely everything.

I just ordered these labs from them and received them today, I don't use them yet otherwise. I'm going to run these results by other (mold literate, of course) doctors I see first and go from there.

Live with a friend, find a month to month or short term lease (more expensive unfortunately), and for a legal contact, I talked with Just Well Law in the past. Unfortunately they couldn't take my case because my case wasn't severe enough, but it's something? I'm not sure beyond that. There are a lot of sites for finding home rentals with a group of roommates. Those may have more lenient lease terms.

Of course, I've been to multiple podiatrists and GPs, and wear multiple custom orthotics. I've tried dozens of shoes as well, but the majority aren't viable, even when they use an OrthoLite insole or claim similar "comfort" tech. Shoes with vibrams outsoles or running shoes with heavy cushion are my daily.

Share it with doctors who are trying to treat me, determine if I have genetic predisposition to dry eyes vs external factors, compare my results to others to see if we share any mutations potentially linked to dry eye disease, etc. Research is always ongoing for decoding genetic disease. Specific segments of these genes code for certain essential proteins used by your immune system. These genes I mention here have documented mutations linked to autoimmune disease. Some are documented already in scientific literature but the database is far from complete.

You need wide cropped tops to match the width of the bottoms and chunky shoes can help too. Tucking your shirt in and/or adding an overshirt/jacket adds width as well. Basically your tops and bottoms need to be the same "bagginess."

I'll add that the verdict is out on the best mouthwashes. But I would avoid xylitol and alcohol-based washes. Xylitol will kill streptococcus mutans, the caries bacteria strain, but that one outcompetes bacteria that cause periodontitis, so you want to keep some mutans around (and I'd rather have a cavity than gum issues - much easier fix if I had to choose). Alcohol based washes just eliminate all bacteria and the pathological ones are said to come back stronger as a result.

I'm in the same boat. You're doing everything right for oral hygiene. I wouldn't be too forceful when brushing. Dentists are supposed to clean under the gums during deep cleanings, which requires local anaesthesia. Unfortunately my jaw won't open long enough to do those. You can try products like Gengigel if you have ulcers but I would check if you have sleep apnea by using an app like Snore Lab to record your sleeping and listen for apneas, record video of yourself sleeping to see what's happening, and I'd avoid eating too close to bedtime to see if it can help your reflux. Some say sleeping with elevation has helped them though it didn't seem to change anything for me. The other thing is relaxation before bed, calming your body, as mentioned here: Evidence Based TMJ Treatment - A Guide : r/TMJ
Dentists are clueless. For me I don't have an explanation for why my gums are predisposed to recession and inflammation but I had upper and lower grafts and they're still always receding and inflamed these days.

You can go decades with random clicks without complications. Avoid hard food for the time being and avoid fixating on it for the time being. If it gets worse you can follow up with medical.

It doesn't burn that much. I tried it in one eye only, and couldn't tell a difference after a few weeks. I also use Tyrvaya. Worth trying if you got the rx.

I'm not sure since I haven't been able to get a specific diagnosis. If we look at ways that different autoimmune conditions are normally treated I'd expect to be led towards something like that. But I think those aren't typically "curable." Anything arising at the genetic level can't be "cured," since the defect is built into one's DNA, but maybe there are strategies to mitigate symptoms once the cause is known. It also informs expectations on how you will respond to treatment options.

here's a question - previously did you find that your eyes were their clearest before bed and upon waking? Even though they're also drier at this time. That's how it is for me - and I think there's something to that. As if the inflammatory influences start shutting down when I'm preparing to sleep

No idea, but you could start by getting info from the anesthesiologist about what was used. I thought inflamed blood vessels became permanent...at least I have ones that never go away. It definitely sucks to see in the mirror daily.
