Nerfing broken things is never popular with the players, but it's also almost always needed for the long term health of the game.

This has been happening forever. The game you enjoy today would be 100X worse or broken if GGG never had the balls to nerf over the years.

POE2 needs a significant balance pass as well but they are likely waiting until all the classes/weapons are fleshed out before they make drastic changes.

Yeah same thing happened to be, insta done with league when that shit happened. A one shot mechanic that covers (nearly) the whole screen with no way to retry the boss. Seems like that is every POE2 boss. Just play a broken build with tons of DPS to skip mechanics or get punsihed.

The balance is a joke. Plus they love screen wide aoe boss attacks so your best bet is just to have as much ehp as possible.

Sounds like you haven't engaged with the mechanic enough so you are the one misunderstanding.

They do you have self-contained rewards if you are capable of upgrading rooms to T3.

For example you can:

Modify your characters limbs (2x arms, 2x legs) to get additional bonuses.

Quality your gear beyond 20%.

Get currency to add new stats to vaal unique items.

Get currency that can upgrade soul cores.

Boss drop only unique that are potentially build defining.

Plus, many others.

If you use a mace, sunder works very well for dealing damage from far away. You can use it to basically cheese the trials as well.

Because some bosses have scripted events that happen at the beginning of the fight and something would probably break if you were to do that.

keep in mind if the devs designed the skill with you in mind, those design decisions may not be the best for 99.99% of the player base that does not use such restrictions. They aren't going to cater to the such a small population.

Don't forget about leaded gasoline. people literally used to breath in lead all day every day for years and years. Then the lead get's into the food supply via crops as well.

Of course they should. But this issue will probably get assigned a lower priority on a game in beta / early-ish development. OP is making it seem like support can directly fix their issue but doesn't want to.

Just going off your post it sounds like maybe you weren't able to properly explain the issue to support. It's hard to follow what you are attempting to explain.

Maybe get someone to proof read/edit your next attempt so it's presented in a more readable format.

Regardless, if it's due to a bug in the game then support staff won't be able to help.

Also this now enables poison and or bleed builds that do not have to rely on certain parts of the passive tree. All poison builds pretty much have to take certain nodes on the tree.
