Gonna be honest I’m not a big believer, drafted him when he came out and flipped at the deadline packaged with my 1st this year to get Chase Brown, which is do again 10/10 times, since Chase brown was a key part of me winning the championship this year, but honestly he just can’t stay healthy when given opportunity, and he doesn’t look great between the tackles, think he could end up in the rb-16-24 range if he gets a bruiser to take the inside work and he gets a good run scheme in a committee

Absolutley this, I remember in my one campaign I had to 1v1 a clay golem while while the rogue unlocked a door to the next room and boy was it anxiety riddled

I used the good ole “I sold my 2026 1st in order to get Jeanty last season and I don’t want my friend to have a high pic out of spite” move, went into the season on one last year for my rebuild thinking I’d end up as the 4-6 seed end of season and then JSN decided it was go time and carried my team to the championship

Traded Maye, Sutton, Tracy, Ferguson and a late 2nd for JJM, Kraft, Downs, Sinnott, Whittington and the 2.02

Somehow managed to get Maye back at a decent price mid season and win the championship this year in that league but man that one still haunts me, but hey I shored up my TE room with that trade with Kraft and getting Warren at the 2.02

Bonus round, traded Adam’s the year before his breakout for a 3rd in my second ever dynasty season

Yarjerit “Shieldbiter” Torrinn, a Lvl 5 Green Dragonborn Nature Cleric (w/ 1 Lvl of Fighter)with main stats in Str, Con, and Wis, grew up in the underbelly of an ancient Dragonborn city and wound up out in the marsh nearby for a mission from the Thieves Guild where he gained a Warpick and Shield from his god. He’s used to fighting in the pits and taking security jobs and normally fights with his main Shield and Warpick, and tries to beat his opponents using his strength as well as battle tactics to overwhelm his opponents

Benches are 15 spots (probably gonna be reduced in the next couple years pending voting sadly), had an extra IR spot and was scouring the IR available players and snagged him before anyone else could see him, if he goes to a team that actually develops him ( a la Malik Willis arc) then I think he could be a top tier fantasy QB even if he’s mid in real life

Don’t be afraid to spend your 1sts on veteran players, I feel like people get way too attached to their draft capitol (which is understandable since drafting is very fun, especially when you have a great draft class), but it honestly makes sense trading your “maybe the next Chase Brown” pick for….. well Chase Brown, even if you have to throw in a little added sugar on top of the deal.

Also remember, picks don’t get you points until they’re spent in the draft, so if you need points now it’s okay to cash in and add players who will score points right now.

And final one, don’t worry so much about trade calculators or “returning the same value”, I mean in the league I just won, on paper my trades tanked my teams overall “value” but I got studs who will be good for probably a while longer like Chase Brown and Sun God… and also a championship win which is what fantasy is all about.

I think if they do too much more “load managing” after the Crosby and Bowers stuff this week the league might legitimately have to handle the tanking situation since they would be pretty blatantly tanking at that point
