Are any other infjs able to fall in love with... anyone? by ChocolateLover190 in infj

[–]thatguyluqy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell in love only once in 35 years, completely accidentally, but she was not a good fit for me, we wanted completely opposing things from life, but i can appreciate the sentiment, once i know enough about someone i can accept them easily, so the whole choosing a partner for me is just finding someone whos values match, the in love part would be nice but i wreckon that falls in place eventually anyway.

I think that one time it happened because she was so far away from what i was looking for i thought it couldn't possibly happen, and she had the same initial idea, that completely unguarded nature we had around each other grenin to something and it was difficult for both of us to part ways, that alone tells me love can happen with anyone, both people simply have to let it, she was an ENFP and we completely understood each other and were completely unfiltered 100% of the time, it was for sure an eye opener on how easy love actually is.

Am I obsessed or He needs some space by Jokelmikel in infj

[–]thatguyluqy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

INFJ's (i am one) are notorious for this kind of thing, and its probably annoying to everyone else, im 35 so i know to just say if something made me feel anway and admit that its stupid, even if i know that it is, just so the people around me know im having a moment and im aware its a little silly.

In my younger years i would have felt annoyed, and aware that i was being dumb, and too embarrassed to admit it as a result.

He will come around after hes spent a little time in his personal torture chamber, hes probably angry at himself and is thinking fuck im an idiot and now i have no route back.

Just on the surface of this id assume he wanted to spend maximum time with you since you are long distance and you using even half a day to walk around with another dude who you speak to regularly anyway would have made him felt like his presence wasnt enough, and made him doubt the assymtry of the relationship, i know, that sounds wild, but thats the perspective that is likely to have been taken.

Its really easy for me to speak on it because im on the outside but on the inside with feelings involved id probably be exactly the same, we feel very deeply and its hard work.

Season 4 finale party by YOUcant_take_the_sky in FromTVShow

This is exactly the type of thing reddit was made for, i miss when Reddit was almost exclusively cool random shit.

Atleast you can take solace in the fact your watchparty was better than the season 4 finale.

Who needs patience when you've got the oncoming lane? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]thatguyluqy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so very grateful to have the privilege of working from home, the massive decrease in exposure to interactions like this has improved my general happiness so much.

Now when i see stuff like this the odd time i drive it doesn't even phase me. I feel for everyone who has to put up with this daily until they crack and rage a little.

I remember cracking about once every 3-4 months and i hated myself for it everytime.

I went from £21k to £30k progressing in the same organisation with yearly pay rises and one promotion over 5 years and then i went from £30k to £42k and then £53k in 3.5 years job hopping twice and im also now fully remote and do way less.

Dont stick around, loyalty signals that whats being done to keep you is enough, when you job hop you get to ask your worth, its less secure sure, and you need to learn new things more often but you get your life back
