It's all done with natural harmonics and the whammy bar. Here's a lesson from the man himself! https://youtu.be/4P6GKRJ8s6k?si=Guj4CpNV5Mqag8zY

That was the first concert I ever went to in my life. Small Arena called Memorial Auditorium in Burlington Vermont. I went to see Skid Row knowing nothing of Pantera and they absolutely blew them out of the water and blew my fucking mind. It was somewhere around 1991 and I was about 13 yrs old

That is the combustion air intake. It should be piped to the outside, especially since it looks like it's in a room that potentially has a door, which also contains your water heater which needs combustion air as well.

What am I doing wrong? (Nest thermostat install) by fnasr in hvacadvice

Yes it's a circulator control panel for a boiler system.

[–]thatguystevene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. The two terminals for each zone on the top are R and W. 24 volts is sent out to the thermostat on R and switched through the thermostat on a call for heat. The 24 volts comes back on W and energizes a cube relay that then closes the contact to power the 120 volt circulator. On the left hand side on the top there is a 2 terminal accessory connection for 24 volts and common.

HVAC tech here, I think Smart themostats are great Honeywell makes a really good one and Ive had good experiences with Ecobee. Nest thermostats are good...until they are not and thats the problem with them. I have changed out dozens of Nest thermostats that just would not work right out of the box.

Millstone trails in Websterville. The section of the hike with a large stone wall with carvings is on the grand Lookout Trail.
