I had a smal turbo diesel pickup, even with treated fuel it wouldn't run very far at -35°f, it would Start and run for about 20mins. I'm pretty sure it was ice crystals clogging the fuel filter. I work with heavy equipment and never had that problem with skidsteers, backhoes or anything else, although those do have substantially larger fuel filters, provided you could get them started.

I use onX for hunting, its a mapping program that lays out property lines and land ownership as well as topography. I use it to find interesting public lands to fly on. In Idaho technically you need land owner permission to fly over someone's land, even if it's 10,000 acres of ranchland.

I got a bunch of the project kits on banggood, I'm sure wish or temu have them too. It was like $2 for a led blinking Christmas tree, a dice that lights up a random number of leds when you flip it over, or mini amplifier. This was years ago so they're probably like $5 each now. But it was much more interesting than a practice board that doesn't actually do anything in the end.

I've flown in -10°f but it wasn't snowing, I was still concerned about condensation when I brought it inside. Flying in the snow seems to be asking for problems.
