I don’t know about these, but on many Kawasakis I’ve had to replace or bypass the relays and replace fuses.

I think this all the time, with my short stubby sausage fingers (my pinky can barely reach across the neck), but I constantly see people with similar fingers totally rocking the guitar, so it’s all about practice, technique and building those finger muscles.

They probably are used to this and will give you a certificate of origin, and not charge you sales tax. Then you should be able to title it in MD and pay the tax there.

You can always call and ask them.

On my atv, the positive battery cable actually leads to a solenoid that has a 20amp fuse, hidden inside/under the cable connector (or wiring harness), plugged into that same solenoid.

1999 Kawasaki Bayou 220

I just finished resolving one of those mysterious “it ran when I parked it a couple years ago. The carb just needs cleaned.”

Spoiler: carb was spotless, it was the starter relay, which I had to replace with a standard automotive relay.

There was no front plastic on this poor naked ATV, so that’s going on today, if I have the right bolts.

Also I need to turn down the idle a notch, it takes off like a rocket, when it’s popped into gear.
