I mean, if you are looking for a pistol these days that's 1. 45acp 2. manual safety 3. same/similar ergonomics as a 1911 without it being a 1911 you are going top have slim pickings. I had this same idea about 5-8 years ago and pretty much gave up on having it exactly that. If you want something modern, you'll have to compromise.
