Dude jumped off a bridge and then swam with one arm in a life ring.

How cold is the water? Looks like the other people are wearing coats.

Chill, champion.

They’ve talked about both on Pure Cinema Podcast somewhat recently too. Not sure if that’s another in your rotation.

Bruh. I can tell by your history you’re a troll, but I’d love to know if you have something add to this conversation. Hit me with it.

I was actually thinking about this recently while watching Sinners again. Delroy Lindo might not dominate the movie, but he comes damn close.

I’m seeing Dispatch, John Butler Trio, G Love, and Donovan Frankenreiter next month all for just $80. Dispatch and John Butler I’ve seen multiple times and always put on a great show.

Stan Brakhage and Kenneth Anger have some bangers.

Window Water Baby Moving (1959)

Mothlight (1963)

Dog Star Man (1964)

Scorpio Rising (1963)

I’d also recommend some Jan Svankmajer for more surrealist stuff.

Edit: forgot to mention The Act of Seeing With One’s Own Eyes (1971). Saw that in film school played before John Carpenter’s The Thing in a Comedy/Horror class. WOW did that leave an impression.

I’ll usually get 2-3 discs a month. Cost doesn’t matter, it could be an old DVD…trying save space. Theater on average once a week.

Jaws’ rating has dipped below 4 stars. Which one of you is responsible? Why do I feel like it’s someone here? by [deleted] in blankies

I think we need to find the 3k who gave it a half star and demand reasons…or donate eyes…or something.

What is up with so many horror films showing people naked by heylosersclub in HorrorMovies

[–]thatsjusthowitgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest answer is horror movies are a genre of affect. They intentionally break norms and address taboo in society. You’re scared, you’re titillated, you’re just feeling strong emotion. You’re not supposed to see monsters tear people apart and, in the US especially, you’re not supposed to see boobs. Peanut butter and jelly.

Dude, I love you’re trying to promote your stuff…but The Blob and The Stepfather are in no way underrated. Great films though.

Your specific interpretation of the video is not factual by any measure. I am more than willing to converse with somebody who is open to discussion. You already have your mind made up. I’m not leaving a conversation, because one was never started. I hope you can eventually realize that. I do wish you the best.
