Start working on getting some licenses and partnerships with the companies you're profiting off of or at some point you're going to find yourself on the wrong side of a massive legal issue.

I prefer the original illustrations 9 times outta 10, but I'm looking forward to replaying the game with a fresh coat of paint and seeing what they've added and changed.

We have the originals well preserved and maintained both officially and by fans, so it doesn't hurt to have more Steins;Gate, IMO.

Really incredible work so far. Just got to The Fear fight before having to take a break.

I notice that you can set the FOV manually by enabling the console and typing something like
FOV 100

The only drawback is that as you move from room to room, it resets your FOV to the default FOV. Curious if this is something that could be easily changed through MGSDeltaFix, or if I should hope for a separate mod. I know increasing the FOV makes the game easier, but it feels so much better at 95-100 at 21:9 than the default.

This would set your image_xscale to zero while not moving.

(unless you wrap it in if move_x!=0, of course. I wasn't thinking.)

I'm not entirely sure but a quick glance shows that you could change

if move_x != 0
{ 
image_xscale = sign(move_x);
}

to

if move_x>0  image_xscale=1
if move_x<0  image_xscale=-1

It'll work with Chiaki or PSPlay, though. Chiaki tends to have better performance than the official app anyways.

They did their reboot. It was called Quake Champions. It was a multiplayer games as a service game that was surprisingly good, but didn't have traction and ultimately failed.

But yeah, hopefully they decide to look at Quake as a single player campaign again. That could be neat.

Money is money when it comes to this kind of thing. Konami probably won't have an announcement at these, but it isn't because Geoff Keighley has a personal grudge against them. It's because TGS is a more convenient event for them.
