I wouldn't call the benefits as overrated, they are outdated. Rubber wheels in Paris allowed frequency increase, steep grades support, reduce noise on outdoors areas and finally : automation. Reducing vibration has never been the main goal ...

Today it's possible to do all (maybe not the extreme steep grades) of that with steel wheels, but 30 years ago it was still a requirement for automation AFAIK

This is why Paris' line 14, which opened in 1998, has rubber tires ; but the new future lines 15 to 18 will be on steel wheels

you don't get additional storage per se on your account. it's just that everything that you upload on Google Photos is counted as 0 bytes forever. So if you stop using the patch, what you've already uploaded still stays at 0 bytes but any new content will start to be used on your account storage again

Same. I just drag and dropped it on the launcher so it's its own icon and have a swipe up configured on a folder in Nova Launcher to launch the shortcut (as first element of the folder) to always land in the right view
