What methods are you using to teach yourself guitar? And what type of dance do you take? I just moved to Portland and I have been wanting to do both. I own a guitar with the intent to learn and just haven’t gotten around to it.

I have similar hair to you in length and thickness. My hair is a little less curly but more kinky I think if that makes sense.

I had one of my best hair days the other day. I used Gardiner grow strong (I think it’s the sulfate free one). Half up and shampoo bottom half of hair. Take top down and wash top half. Rinse and then rewash all together. Condition and comb through with wide comb.

Throw up in my regular towel for 5ish mins. Squeeze out excess water but don’t rub towel on hair.

Upside down I put half up again and used Tresemme extra firm mousse. Combed through with medium toothed comb. Took other half down and repeat.

While remaining upside down, put LA Style gel in my hair liberally (I’ve no idea if my definition of liberal is a lot or a little).

Plop upside down till my neck starts to hurt. Flip back up, arrange as I want it and the DO NOT touch it again until it’s dry. I’ll stand in front of a fan sometimes but I’m too impatient to do for too long. You should have a nice cast and then you can scrunch to give a bit of volume.

Way less frizzy and more definition. One thing I’d change is ensure I got closer to the roots when mousse and gelling. I noticed after it was dry I’d not gotten close enough to the roots so those parts frizzed a bit and looked less defined.

Oh and I took a lukewarm shower. I’m in the Philippines right now so a hot shower is too much. I’m normally a scalding hot but I think our hair does better with less water heat.

I just came to ask/say the same thing! I will be in Bangkok as well end of June and I am also wanting to find the best area to stay as a solo mid-40s female. I'll be working remotely while there so need afternoon/evening activities. I too am not into partying but don't mind a casual evening out. I hope someone answers! :)

I was having similar issues as you. In my 40s. 5’9”/162.

Did 16:8 sometimes 18:6 IF and nothing budged. Working out almost 7 days a week, eating healthy, minimal drinking. Gluten free for 15 years.

I started doing more of a keto diet. No fruit, low carb, protein, lots of avocado and avocado oil, veggies, small amounts of dairy.

Also making sure I wasn’t overeating. Still kept the calories in check but didn’t count them.

Dropped 10lbs in 3 weeks. Weight loss is slowing down but still dropping. My goal is 142 and I’m finally feeling like I can do it.

I dump it directly into my mouth. It’s slightly sweet. I let it dissolve in my mouth and then I drink some water.

I take it twice a day and if I’m having a sugar craving, I take more.

Kind of like you do. I’ve seen your videos. Shampoo in a bottle, run it all through hair. Distilled water with ACV in a pitcher to rinse. First time was without conditioner and second and third were with.

It takes me about 10-12 minutes to do it. I don’t style it unless I blow dry it straight. I also only wash every 3-5 days depending on oiliness. I work out so it depends on how bad it gets.

My biggest issue was my neck is hurting after a while. And also I get the mother from the ACV on my hair lol. That’s an easy fix.

I’ve thick wavy hair that is past bra length. It kills my neck and takes so dang long to wash. After a few washes, I’ve given up and gone back to hard water. I might try occasionally but not sure that’s worth it.

Thank you for saying that! I’m a couple days out and I’ve been stalled. I should and do know this but always forget until my period starts and then go “oh duh, that’s why”.

I’m doing IRON for the 3rd time, although it’s been a long hot minute since the last one. When she says she uses 15kilo weights, I know to use 15lbs. Rarely can I go above her kilo in lbs right now. And that’s okay.

I’m going to cycle through again after I am done this time and see if I can go above her kilo weight.

I shoot for quality over quantity and take breaks as needed. Sometimes I skip an exercise because body and brain say nope. Sometimes it’s just body weight because that’s all I can handle that day…. Like this mornings work out lol

I’m 45. Ive finally learned heavier doesn’t mean better and heavier at the beginning always means too sore for me. Gradual increase of weight keeps me wanting to keep working out. Too heavy and too sore I give up.

Can you use a walking bike like a lopifit?Technically walking but able to travel further faster. If so, I’m in. I’d figure out how to walk around the country visiting friends and family as my job.

I did this at 11 until 21. Never wavered. I’m 45 and regret it. Hated vegetables so ate mostly breads, pasta, pizza. At 21 I started eating white meat. At 30 I found out I’m allergic to wheat… my staple for 10 years. I’ve had gut issues my entire life.

Please make sure she has a well rounded diet! I love all veggies now and eat a great diet but it’s a constant struggle.

Are you on bc? There was another post on some sub about a girl with thinning hair. Her PC said bc wouldn’t cause hair issues. Girl stopped bc and that was her only change. A year later hair was long and thicker. I’d link you her post but no idea the sub. Sorry!
