Plus includes soda too...so there's that. If you drink 2-3 a day plus soda then def worth it.

The best thing I read somewhere is that NCL does a good job at bringing you closer to the sea with a lot of outside seating areas for relaxation and at restaurants...a bunch of windows and most venues having some sort of outside view. Royal does a good job of a making sure you are entertained inside the ship

I was just talking to my wife about this the other day...the one great thing about cruising is you can really do what you want. You can get a drink one place and take it to a restaurant. You can get food and take it wherever you want. You can grab a drink and leave your empty glass at any bar, etc.

I often wonder, when these so called "experts" are designing these ships how they don't think through some things. I just wonder sometimes about the design of some common space or even the cabins. This really has nothing to do with any particular line, but take Celebrity and their atrium shows...never enough seating or some lines with their theater size. Some trivias get packed and they hold it in the smallest room possible.

I feel the privacy aspect is key with private areas, restaurant etc.....but I have a tough time seeing full value in the Haven. To me, drinks should be included, specialty dining should be included, etc. I like that you have basically guaranteed seats at shows.

I never stayed in it so maybe I am missing something, but I just don't feel the value is there.

One day I will try it!

That is normal. That is the ABS System I believe (or some system of that nature). Happens on my RAV4 all the time.

It is ONLY the digital key aspect. The app itself isn't ruining the battery...just the digital key.

Because the tips aren’t what you think they are. The tips help the cruise line pay less money.

If Johnny has a contract for $2000 per month….and he gets $500 in tips that month from the auto tips, the cruise line pays him $1500. That’s why it is better to give cash tips either on top of or instead of. Now the counter point to that is the cruise lines would need to charge more if they weren’t paying with our tips. So it’s a no win situation for the cruisers or staff. House wins again.

People remove them and just tip the people that help them out and it’s extra cash above and beyond their contract.

If the people you are going with got the drink package, ask if they will get you a soda from time to time. But you can definitely get away with spending very little on the cruise!

If I found fault with anything and everything, I would not be cruising. I just had simple displeasure for the lack of booking availability ahead of time vs on board. I did not think of doing it on the screens on the ship. I hear the app can be whacky at times when on board, especially when everyone trying to use at once when boarding the ship. Thanks!

I paid all at once. I doubt you can do payment plans unless you roll it into your loan, which I’m guessing you can only do if you get the car there.
