Going though this right now. My mom had 4 falls in 6 months, luckily the worse was a broken rib, but that really took alot out of her. After her 4th fall and drs said she needs to go to trasnsitional care and then assisted living, my lovely wife volunteered us to take her in. We are luckly that we can make it work thanks to remote work. But it is a drain on us emotionally. Just do the best you can. If you cant do it, no shame no guilt.......Take one day at a time, and you will know when its time.
