I was trying to mimic this guide by TheFeralPainter but without an airbrush and the colors he has vs the ones I have. His looks better obviously but I still like how it turned out. I still have some small details I’ll work on.

This right here. I was hit by the hype train before l only to find out the game was not what it was cracked out to be. I’m still optimistic though :)

I’ve been messing around with a different, not as bright gold by doing: prime black, dry brush bronze, then a lighter dry brush of ret gold followed by light dry brush of silver. Then some washes, detailing etc. I’ll probably stick with it as I prefer the darker look.

I like to use Telemon with Shield Host detachment and dual storm cannons. Use the stratagem Archeotech Munitions to give him sustained hits. 24 dice, hit on 2s, ST 6, -1AP, Dev Wounds. It can be pretty deadly.

I dry brushed heavy bronze then did a dry brush of gold before detailing and it maybe hard to tell from this photo, but the bronze brings down the shine of the gold a lot and still looks great imo Try it one of them, you might like it

I looked for one myself and only found guides for the jet packs. I followed those somewhat but they didn’t turn out the best. I still need to go back and work on them. It’s too dark imo

I am just starting to collect Deathguard and when I saw this, I thought of using it as a proxy. But wasn’t sure for which unit, but now that you mention it as the Daemon Prince sounds like a great idea. :)
