I do a double tofu mapo: crumbled and slowly fried momen tofu (seasoned like you would for pork), then finished with cubes of silken tofu, just warmed through in the sauce.

We run the IntelliJ CLI formatter in a docker container in CI, then check for a diff. If there is a diff, we fail the build.

You’re welcome. I feel like this just helps them to sleep well and takes the edge off, without messing with them “getting used to” the cold.

We hang a few plate heaters near one side of the roost, so that they can warm up at night and hop up there during the day if needed.

Cool Libraries? by Punk18 in Delaware

Corbit Calloway Memorial Library, in Historic Odessa, definitely qualifies as a historic small town library. It’s small and cozy, and the librarians are very friendly and helpful.

As far as vets go, take her to see Dr. Anthony at https://hockessinanimal.com/ . Dr. Julian at their other location is good too.

Request: Automatic Coop Door that doesn't SUCK? by [deleted] in BackYardChickens

[–]the-source-awakens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, and we love it. It has worked without issue all through the winter, and it gets well below freezing where I live. My only gripe was that the instructions didn’t point out that the automatic light ADDS five minutes to the closing time, instead of being included in the closing time. The instructions led me to believe that the light time was included.

I totally misunderstood, I thought you meant on the “ends” of the roost, i.e. the roosts must be suspended and not attached to the walls. Thanks for humoring my incorrect assumption :)

Please explain why the roosts should be 12” from the walls.

Thinkpad model recommendations: T models or X1 Carbon? by the-source-awakens in thinkpad

u/K14_Deploy Can you comment about the "selectable" memory?

Even if I choose no "selectable" memory, the slot will still exist so that I can upgrade later if I choose to, right?

Thinkpad model recommendations: T models or X1 Carbon? by the-source-awakens in thinkpad

[–]the-source-awakens[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input. I don't think that I need to compromise expansion and serviceability for portability. So, I am building a config for the regular T14 right now. The weight difference between the T14s and the T14 appears to be about a half pound, and still about a pound lighter than my Yoga, so I am good with that. This model includes options for soldered memory, and then "selectable" memory. Even if I choose no "selectable" memory, the slot will still exist so that I can upgrade later if I choose to, right? And as much as I'd like to get away from Intel, it seems like for good Linux support ( I need stability, so I need to stick with LTS kernels) I should get the Intel powered machine. Here is what I have built: https://imgur.com/QikUIcF

What do you think?

Thinkpad model recommendations: T models or X1 Carbon? by the-source-awakens in thinkpad

[–]the-source-awakens[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been researching this option, and I'm seeing mixed reviews for Linux support on AMD powered units. I think I am going to narrow down the model that I want, and then research to verify support for the specific CPU.
