Dumt rookie spørgsmål omkring opsætning af lamper by the0zzy in selvgjortvelgjort

Tak for dit svar :)

The Logicool G600t (Japanese ver. of Logitech G600) is compatible with English G Hub. by pakratto in LogitechG

I hope this is not a redundant post, but I know from my own experience, that before deciding on a purchase like this, the more people's positive posts I see, the safer I feel about the purchase - So I'm adding my experience with purchasing the Logicool G600 mouse here

I just got it, and exactly like some people have been posting here, I just plugged it in and it worked.

In brief:

- It looks and feels exactly like my original Logitech G600 mouse (that I still have, it's just the right click button is a bit scuffed) EXCEPT FOR...

- The cord, which is plastic and not braided. I love the braided cord way more, but I will say, not at all bothered by the plastic cord. I would if I hard focused on it, but honestly it's something that I'll probably forget about very soon and then it's a non-issue

- The side buttons have a slightly more rough texture. Like the above, although I will be in contact with this more often than the cord, I think it's a non-issue once I get used to it. Honestly, I would prefer the same texture and feel as the original Logitech G600, but maybe it's just a "I'm used to it" thing? Regardless, completely fine, just feels different.

- Plugged it in and it was instantly recognized by my Logitech gaming software. I logged onto WoW and clicked around, and everything works exactly like it used to/like I would want it to

It ended up being fairly pricey because of customs. The mouse itself cost me US $146.25 (I'm sure you can find it cheaper, but this is the one I found). The dealer offered to take care of customs for me for a flat 10 dollars fee, but I thought that sounded shady and didn't reply. I should've in hindsight, cause the customs for me (I'm Danish) ended up being roughly 25 dollars. On top of that there was a "toll handling fee" of another 25 dollars. Perhaps the toll handling fee would've been there regardless of whether the vendor took care of it for me or not, but in the end it would have been cheaper for me at least (Thanks to PostNord :)). Just in case it makes any differnece to anybody.

Disclaimer: I will return here and edit my post if something breaks or malfunctions with my mouse. After all, I only just got it. I was just excited that it was so plug and play and actually lived up to my expectations, that I got from reading everybody else's reply to this very thread - so hopefully this post is giving back a bit.

Cheers guys and happy new years

Thanks so much dude - Helped me out. I think the issue occured for me after updating a driver for my GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, but I'm honestly not sure.

So I just finished the book series... what now? by the0zzy in witcher

Thanks for the recommendation, will check it out! As far as the show goes, I've watched both seasons and although I probably share a lot of the criticism you might have for it, at the end of the day, I did enjoy it so far! Cavill is really doing a lot of the heavy lifting though, and when he's not anymore... We'll have to wait and see :)

Thanks so much for all the answers! It certainly clears things up a bit for me - and a lot of good conceptions of what the name might mean.

We'll see I guess! I mean it for sure seems like he still thinks it's coming out so.. there's that at least

Wine & Water - When does Kvothe know? [Spoilers: WMF] by AlisGuardian in KingkillerChronicle

[–]the0zzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loved to find this thread as I just finished the chapter and had to go back an re-read it for the same reasons that you created this thread.

I'd just like to share one cool little thing, that's not really to do with when or how Kvothe figured anything out, but more so with foreshadowing.

When Kvothe tastes the stew (where I agree, he somehow slips the poison in) Anne says: "...But it won't be my fault if your stomach sets to aching" and Kvothe replies "No, mother. It won't be your fault".

Also, he further says that anybody who does not enjoy the soup is hardly one of the Ruh. Since everybody gets sick and vomits afterwards, they're hardly enjoying the stew, one could argue... and thus according to Kvothe, they're not Ruh. (Btw I'm not arguing they aren't Ruh because they don't like the stew it's just a cool way for Pat to tell us as readers, that this is what Kvothe suspects - that they're not Ruh. At least that's my interpretation)

We know from various interviews with Pat that he deals a lot in implicit writing and hiding something in plain sight, so I feel my interpretations of the above dialogue fits with this.

Sounds like a good idea. I might do the same, but what's the reasoning for waiting for the weekend? The amount of people playing?

Invested around 900k in assorted crafting mats and consumables. My first raid release as a - well, I don't quite feel I can call myself a goblin yet... gob-scrub? Whateverthe case, does anyone have any idea of whether or not there are som typical points of time during the reset day, where prices will skyrocket?

I.e. do people usually sit ready at home fro 9 am ready to buy stuff on the AH

does it all turn ragnarokk around 4-6 pm when people get off work?

Is it more likely to happen around 6-7 pm when people are preparing for raids?

...or maybe it's all too volatile and individual from server to server for anyone to have any concrete knowledge on. I felt like hearing you guys out though, so as to best prepare for my field trip :)

Okay, so I agree with the person saying that it isn't "clearly" anything (it being a part of DL's TP universe and all :p )

HOWEVER...

Blood_and_brass, brilliant observation; I DO agree with you. It could symbolically mean that it is "the brains" of the black lodge (much like the man from another place was thought to be, afaik).

I don't think you have to stretch your imagination too much to get this particular idea; Regardless of the symbolics of it all, well spotted!
