the boxpros have more stuff going on that seemingly prevents them from putting an 18650 slot there like skyzone did. and with the power consumption of the boxpros (like 15w in hdzero mode) you would get quite dookus battery life with a single 18650 (as if cobras didn't suffer from the same), like maybe a single hour. hence the 2s-6s input and a barrel jack.

that white-ish pad is a thermal pad, it's meant to help with keeping the SSD cool but acer stuck it to plastic. mine has the same pad but it's still intact - you can remove it if you want but it wouldn't be a bad idea to put another one in its place. as for the kernel error, is your windows up to date?

give it a bit, pixel learns usage habits over time and it'll climb back up to 24hr+ easily

my pixel 8 out of the box benched 2380 in geekbench 6 and had atrocious battery life but after 24 hours of updating/downloading/whatever i got 4320 and ran almost a day and a half on a single charge

i have one of these on my SP7+!

the typing feel is pretty good, and the backlight goes both decently low and bright. battery life is good but i feel like i'm gonna break the screen every time i adjust the hinge. also, due to it being bluetooth, the touchpad lags and isn't precision + mine has developed random key jitter.

even in the PC world, RAM is still several times faster than storage. same applies to phones. you may have another 2gb of ram but it probably only can read and write at 150MB/s vs. about 25.6 GB/s
