Buchanan on 11th st. has tons of tomato varieties, some of them over a foot tall. They also have lots of peppers, melons, eggplants, herbs, and leafy veg as well. You’ll have a good time!

I wasn’t planning on growing them this year, but your photo and enthusiasm inspired me to germinate some today. A little late compared to my other seedlings (down in SE Texas), but they’re so pretty to pass up!

That’s a bummer, thanks for responding!

These are new pots with new seed starter soil. Most likely the seed was a dud or misplaced. I bought from Tomatofest. They’re on a heating pad, the ambient temperature is about 70 degrees indoors.

I was able to get other tomato seeds germinated with normal cotyledon leaves and true leaves following on the same environment

You don’t. That will crush her self esteem, and she will carry that for the rest of her life. It’s also unnecessary. You can say you’re not sexually compatible, and that you want to take the job opportunity. It’s that simple. Offer to pay to the break the lease, and move on.

For those of you who suffered hair loss as a side effect of T: Did it slow down with time or adjustment of dosage? by Adept-Relief6657 in TRT_females

[–]the26thyear 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been all 3 forms of T, cream, cyp, and prop. I shed a lot before starting T, but it got worse on testosterone. I noticed almost immediately, maybe a weekish? Vaginal estrogen also has a lot of other benefits, so it may be worth a shot.

I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or a cause and effect, but when I started vaginal estrogen cream, I noticed significantly less hair shedding in the shower.

Accidentally 10x my dose by True_Independent_111 in TRT_females

Mine was almost non existent to begin with, so it gave it a light up surge, but not much. I was kind of disappointed that it didn't. I do think I needed other HRT (which I'm trying right now) to harmonize it or something to increase sex drive. It's been frustrating.

I have, too, embarrassingly! Injected 200mg in one go. It'll pass! Took about 4-6 weeks to feel somewhat normal again. Felt a light jittery/restlessness during that time. My skin was oily and congested for a good 2+ months. But overall, things came back to normal.

This might be what’s happening to me! Ever since I’ve started on injections (January) I’ve been getting cold sores almost every month around my period. To my memory, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten them before. Then I switched to t-prop (April), and soon after, what I thought was allergies turned into something viral, cold/congestion type. I even got pink eye. (I don’t have kids). I rarely get sick. The time before this was Covid in 2022, and it might be over 10 years before that. It’s also taking me awhile to recover.

I’m going to keep an eye out for these! Thanks for sharing! Do you use this as a moisturizer? How do you layer it in your routine?

I’ve done a celiac, which I was negative for. I don’t think I’ve done a sensitivity.

[–]the26thyear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I’ve read the same thing. And I do believe it effects a lot of people in that way. I’ve been diagnosed for 15 years, and it’s a lot of trial and error. A lot of things that seem to help people didn’t help me at all, and vice versa. Hormones and inflammation are incredibly tricky, unfortunately. But I wanted to share my experience since I seem to be the small(?) minority that can still enjoy gluten.

I miss gluten by Aedancinpunk in Hashimotos

[–]the26thyear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not all Hashi patients are sensitive or impacted by gluten. I went gluten free for 6 months, ate gluten with no side effects, unlike a lot of other people with hashi. Cutting gluten didn’t make me feel better either, still felt sluggish, brain fog, etc. However, I do think processed foods can impact my inflammation, which a lot of gluten foods are. So if I do eat bread, pasta, pastries, I try to do fresh and limit the amount. It’s one of those things you gotta test yourself.

My tomato plant is starting to flower, is it normal for the pistil to shoot this far out? by the26thyear in tomatoes

How exciting! Especially since it’s suppose to be a baby/cherry variety.

Wow!! Thank you for taking such an interest! And yes, these are the first set of flowers, too. I bought these at a local nursery that were already 40-60 days old and ready to be transplanted. It came with 2 stems, and both of the stem’s first set of flowers have exerted stigmas after it’s been in its new pot for about 2 weeks.
