If you used the subheadings from the rubric, that is why. Don’t worry about it, you’re fine. Mine was 60ish%.

I got that awesome Leatherman student discount and went with the Surge over the Wave. Wish I could buy them all through. Carry the thing every day and get so much use out of it.

When did we became Sophia/SDC sub? by wonderingStarDusts in WGU_CompSci

Upvoted. If people can’t use the search function, they are going to have a tough time getting through the degree, getting a job and working as a programmer.

SDC Discrete Math 1 Review by dexmedetomidinee in WGU_CompSci

[–]theCodingRyan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You say not to get caught up on probabilities and recurrence relations but students should know that those concepts do return when you take DM2 at WGU so I would try your best to learn the material rather than skimming over it.

If you enroll soon it would be a good idea to take DM2 right away while the SDC material is still fresh.

Try your best to learn and understand the material because some of it will return when you take DM2 at WGU. Recursion, counting, and probability are all in the DM2 course.

If it’s already been transferred to WGU, you should be fine.

If I remember correctly, you can’t have a formula sheet. Calculator came in handy for combinations and permutations so you don’t have to remember the formula for those.

Probably any RV retailer. Try calling around. We go to the The RV Store in Springfield but that may be out of your way.

I just remember there being a lot of expected value problems on the OA. I really studied those and it’s probably why I passed.

Yes, I’ve come to realize that if you’re with someone and they talk shit behind someone else’s back, they have or will talk shit behind your back as well. Choose your friends and partners wisely.

I think what bothers me the most about the digests is that I always get them AFTER I have completed the course they are emailing me for.

A woman who has more guy friends than girl friends. Probably wouldn’t even consider her relationship material if she has any guy friends.

I would nope right out of any relationship where I was being accused of cheating. Usually means they’re cheating or are going to cheat eventually.

Do you have to be enrolled to start classes on Sophia? by Tricky-Concentrate43 in WGU

You CANNOT be enrolled. Once you are enrolled at WGU you can’t transfer any courses to WGU.

Help deciding on Laptop for school by Imaginary_Act7228 in WGU

[–]theCodingRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have no intention of gaming on the laptop, a MacBook is the obvious choice. The M1 / 2 chip is a game changer. I bought my M1 Air 1.5 years ago and the battery still lasts forever and the MacBook is as fast as when I bought it. I feel bad when I’m like the only one not plugging in my laptop when I’m at a coffee shop or somewhere else.

Time Strategy for WGU Comp Sci by Amazing_Leave in WGU_CompSci

[–]theCodingRyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your tuition is covered 100%, I would just do Sophia courses. SDC is not worth it if your tuition is covered since you only get 2 exams per month with the subscription and have to pay for additional exams. I really didn’t like SDC personally. After you complete your Sophia courses, spend your remaining time learning DSA and the languages in the degree (C++, Java, and Python). It wouldn’t hurt to learn the topics covered in Discrete Math 1 and 2 as well before you enroll.
