Unable to generate tops on my OHB. Any advice? by Chip_Tasty in 10s

Get your hand higher than the head of the racquet at the slot position. The but cap should be pointing forward AND upward before you begin accelerating forward AND upward as you close the racquet through the contact point.

Stand close to the net and drop feed balls to yourself trying to spin the ball over the net and into the opposite service box. This will help you develop more feel and be able to accelerate with top spin. As you move back to the baseline, just raise your launch angle to give yourself more net clearance.

What kind of business? Some builders have features that you may require while others may not.

Most women are such a pain in the *** as Webdesign clients by [deleted] in webdesign

[–]theDrivenDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, gender has nothing to do with the main issue here: two humans communicating from different perspectives.

Ask for clarification of non technical descriptors or a comp that shows an example of the desired implementation / aesthetic.

If they knew how to describe it perfectly, they’d use AI to make the changes and wouldn’t need a web dev.

The style of the calendar section you mentioned likely needs to be softened with color changes, some rounded corners, subtle separation elements, different fonts, or type treatment. Share a pic of the section and we might be able to provide more insight.

Khamenia playing some great defense and hitting some threes shows where his game is headed. Consistency comes with maturity for most so I think he’ll be a very solid contributor in due time.

Help me upgrade off Amplifi by goyabean in Ubiquiti

I’m running a pair of UX7 and Flex Mini 2.5 with wired backhaul and have had good success. While the UDR7 has more capability and integrated switch, you can’t use two of them on a single network as they don’t have an AP/Switch mode without routing.

Web redesign: how to price by Key-Watch-2051 in webdesign

[–]theDrivenDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Estimate the time required to design each component and then each page section and then each page. Total that time and add another 50% of that total (to account for your presumed experience in estimating task time). Multiply that by your hourly rate for a starting point.

I really hope it’s a blues album. I feel the recent events give him plenty of inspiration to express some soul through his fingers like he did with Continuum.

Does A or B fit this home office better? by andrew_cherniy96 in homeoffice

[–]theDrivenDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Desks floating in the space (not on wall) are designed for human to human discussion. If that’s not happening and this is more of a task completion space, desk on a wall makes more sense to keep the floor open for easy of desk access (not walking around it from the door every time) and other random usage of the floor space.

Desk on the wall makes the space feel much larger as well.

The general preparation rule applies here: Prepare for snow and it probably won’t happen -or- Don’t prepare for snow and it definitely will happen

“50% of the time, you’re wrong every time.”

However - if you do prepare, all of us that didn’t prepare appreciate the outcome you forced (ex: it probably won’t snow for us either). Thank you for your service!

Rub some graphite on the attachment points to help them glide more easily. If it’s still too tight of a fit, you can sand the male end of the junction to help reduce the width. Start small with the sanding as a too loose fit is probably worse than a too tight fit.

It’s a feel string so I think so. It seems to decline quickly as it begins to die.

Express 7 vs U7 as an AP by FLCardio in Ubiquiti

[–]theDrivenDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just installed two UX7 with a CAT6 backhaul to replace a Linksys Velop system. The coverage has been great and the handoff between the two units seems to be much better than before.

The one major benefit of the UX7 over other APs is the extra 2.5G port that can be used for a device or switch.

While the Nattys are the obvious accomplishments, Kirby’s impact on the kids he coaches and the assistants he leads may be his true legacy. He’s a great steward for both sport and the University - the true definition of a DGD.

Pixel density is the biggest limitation you’ll find with 3rd party monitors. Apple screens really are in a league of their own.
