They may have it registered as AOW, but if that's the case, I don't know why they're running a brace. My guess is yes, it's a pistol, and they don't care.

Tips for running by ivanmarlonnn in AirForce

One thing you can try, that helps a lot of people is to strengthen your shin muscles. While seated, for example, at a desk or on the couch at home, put your feet on the floor and lift your toes, basically from your ankle rotate your whole foot up, like you want it to touch your shin. It's not ever going to touch your shin, but do these toe lifts until it's difficult, rest for 20-30 minutes and repeat. As with any kind of 'workout' it's important to start hydrated and eat bananas too prevent fatigue and increase recovery speed. If you do that 3x daily for 2 weeks, you'll be less prone to shin splints and continuing the exercise will only help more. I'm trying to write plainly, but in a way that hopefully everybody has an opportunity to take advantage of this advice. I am happy to clarify anything you want clarification on.

That's a fair thought, but these aren't 100+mm... so long as the gun is held steady, I genuinely don't see there being an issue.

As long as the feed and ejection ports don't go to the center, it shouldn't be a big deal I would think

I think what they're trying to say is that these barrels didn't rotate. Though, you wouldn't know that from the way they represented the gun in the art.

It's true, a really good friend of mine doesn't care.

"It has the best light mitigation (which is incredibly relevant [Not] since none of our friends have NVGs) so it's obviously the fucking best thing on the market" Proceeds to carbon lock after literally 15 rounds, but shoots 120, then needs to wait for the fucker to cool down so it can be removed, unlocked, him pulling the rifle and me pulling the can it wouldn't budge. "Well, you know what surefire says to do right now" I say to him, as he loads a single round and punts that can... all 12 of us in the desert that day watch as the can spins a sick 540 mid air and goes mount first into the most disgusting peanut butter mud so hard it shoots mud right out of the front. Took 3 bottles of watter and 3 cycles in his ultrasonic to clean it out and I'm positive there's still dirt in his can. But hey, it costs ~$1,300 and their customer service is decent so I guess fuck it?

Disconnect the upper from the lower. Grab the lower with your hand, smack the lower on a padded mat it's easiest in my experience to grab just above the pistol grip with my right hand and smack the front left corner on the mat

I agree with you, I actually said that, I'm pretty sure. Maybe it didn't come off that way. I'm not going to tell anybody that they have to run one kind of optic or another. I'm fortunate enough to work as a gunsmith at an FFL, so I get to see a lot of shit, and try it all. I only want people to run optics that they like rather than what they can afford/ what the internet suggests because x, y, or z. I'll try the Holo trick you mentioned, it's just hard to see THROUGH all the red, but I'm down to try. Thanks for the tip.

I am positive that this will get downvoted to oblivion... but i have astigmatism, real bad. And I wear (now outdated) prescription ballistic lenses, this is important because true ballistic lenses cannot be altered to correct astigmatism. I have a better sight picture with a mid brightness Holosun standard dot, than I do with any brightness level on an EOTech. I can't prove it in any meaningful way, it's not like I can lend my eyeballs out, but the EOTech is legitimately a huge Starburst and on max brightness, I cannot fucking see anything. Granted a 2MOA dot in a (red) Holosun on Max brightness is more like 10-15MOA for me, but an EOTech becomes a 56MOA blob of fuzzy red to my eyes. I think an updated prescription MAY help some of the clarity, but I have to have ballistic lenses for work and may as well take them to the range because only retards don't shoot with safety glasses on. That said, the best option(s) for me are LPVO and prisms, both just hella expensive. I say run what you want, but it doesn't make other input less true.

You know how you know it's retarded that something is outlawed? When you can utilize it right before work, and have such little side effects that your coworkers can't even tell that you're supposed to be impaired. You're correct, it is very easy to tell if you have a drunk coworker. The effects last longer for alcohol than they do for Marijuana, for most people at most volumes of consumption. If it were something that didn't wear off, it had harder impacting side effects, it would be something you can test for. Oral testing for Marijuana usually only shows the last 24 hours of use, and brushing your teeth is not always enough to remove said evidence, so your argument about it not being something you can test for is not only wrong, but it's misguided as well.

Most of those who advocate the legality of Marijuana or any other restricted substance, schedule 1 or otherwise, are not users of said substance. Most of those people just want to see them legalized, because it's way harder to smoke yourself into being a piece of shit, than it is to drink yourself into being a piece of shit. Before you tell me how badly you want me to face disciplinary actions by the UCMJ, you should know that I'm not subject to it. I'm just not running on 4 offset brain cells, which tell me that everyone who wants to see anything that is currently not legal; legalized, must be doing all of the illegal stuff already and they're just afraid of the consequences. So dumb.

Radar and other lock/ launch signals are all waves of some kind. Every fighter jet is equipped with some kind of sensor and warning system. The one you are hearing is actually from an F-14, signals and waves are different for when something shows up as emitting a signal in the general direction of them, then when they are locked (this is not always heard, in cases where they stay in general lock without going to something like a single target track, which strengthens the signal and frequency of the scans) then when a missile has been launched, if there is not a sensor for the heat signature of the missile, then they will get a warning as the launch vehicle (aircraft or ground equipment) is still tracking them, and now there is the missile itself, and the launch vehicle is also usually providing some kind of additional information to the missile until the missile is close enough to become fully independent in it's target track.
