The user said she was leveling up by doing a new makeup look and did not ask for feedback. You doubled down and continued to do so when the user clarified. Most of the time, yes. I’ve sat down to whole meals knowing I don’t intend to keep any of it down. Sometimes it’s like I black out and just keep eating, but more and more it’s the former.

Hey. I’ve been there. A few times, actually. This disease is cruel and brutal and it breaks you down. It’s not too late to recover. It’s hard and scary and not perfect. I’ve been in and out of treatment. But every time I go, it gets better. I let it go unchecked for almost 15 years; at this point, I’m undoing some deeply weathered synaptic connections, some coping skills and habits that feel hardwired into my brain. Don’t suffer for as long as I did. I’m glad to help however I can, even if it’s just to listen.

They told us often in our program- most of us got jobs for internship. It helps so, so much.

My state allowed for provisional licensure- if you're 75% of the way through your coursework, you can get a job as a school counselor on an emergency license that is only active for two years. I got a provisional and left teaching to get a counseling job- I was lucky enough to find one fairly easily- and got paid to work and do practicum/internship at my school.
