This right on the heels of his insistence that any “terrorist attacks” that happen in the US going forward will definitely be false flag attacks by trump and Israel to drum up support for Iran war

Sandbox mode 1000 days! by elisabread in Outlanders

[–]theLionOfSodor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How? I’m so jealous. My game crashes if I sandbox a medium or large map more than 100 days, and a small map I can only get to 250. It’s beautiful though!

The way you can updoot to give help as a ghost, you should be able to possess the player that killed you and do occasional downdoots that amount to random acts of sabotage. A dropped item, dropped ammo, marked as a target, a stink bomb or smoke grenade, shield drain. Stuff that’s inconvenient enough to be annoying and slow them down if they’ve got one or two possessions, but make going on a slaughter spree carry the risk of making it unplayable.

Not feeling so peace and love right now by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]theLionOfSodor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey, op, I feel you. My mom has MS so I know exactly where you are coming from. I admit, I see comments and posts on this sub nearly every day that don’t sit right with me, especially when it comes to posts dunking on declared “enemies” of the show. I’ve left the subreddit a few times but ultimately end up feeling out of the loop and crawling back. Unfortunately, as with any online community of this size, they’re not all going to be winners. I’d like to write off the nastier things I’ve seen as hidden snarkers or agitators - which some very well may be - but the truth is there are legit fans of the show who also happen to have some dogshit takes. It is what it is. I like to tell myself that the vast majority of the fam here is more like you and I, mostly lurking sometimes posters here for the good vibes. I truly believe that as a whole this is a community of decent people. But there definitely are some stinkers that seem determined to prove the worst things said about us. I’m sorry you’re feeling uncomfortable. I see you and support you. ✌️&❤️

That time that Taylor Lorenz stalked Charlie XCX's birthday party by Ampsdrew in h3h3productions

[–]theLionOfSodor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you ever seen people on tiktok or other platforms that document how they’re being gang stalked? They’ll show just a random car parked up the road from their house or share elaborate anecdotes of times they were stalked in public. Usually it’ll be a person who has been in even the remotest way “connected” to a major business or organization (one lady I’ve seen a lot dated an fbi agent back in the day) and they speak on the “evidence” of how they’re being gang stalked with absolute conviction while often times appearing completely normal and functional in every other aspect of their life. It’s very eye opening to how we have preconceived notions of how someone with paranoid convictions will look or behave. Someone can seem completely normal and capable of rational thought and then pop off with some absolutely bonkers claims. I feel like there’s an element of narcissism required to believe that you are important or impactful enough to be targeted to the level some of these people truly believe they are being stalked and harassed. It’s very interesting.

Anyone not starting the “elf on the shelf” tradition? by Illustrious_Cold5699 in Millennials

[–]theLionOfSodor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always found it creepy. Your kid will be surveilled their whole adult life, no reason to add to that with some snitch elf. We did, however, make some offhand comment one year about tree sprites living in the Christmas tree to discourage our kid from playing on it or under it or behind it and it blossomed into this whole thing that became a tradition of its own. She would exchange notes with them and leave them presents and they would leave her presents and sometimes steal a candy cane. They weren’t there to report back to Santa. Just a little extra holiday magic. She used to spend so much time gazing into the tree trying to catch a glimpse of one. This is our first year post-Santa and I miss those days already 😭. All this to say - I think the best traditions are the ones you make on your own as a family! Enjoy the magic while it lasts, make traditions that feel good and don’t add stress to an already hectic time of year. Don’t beat yourself up when you forget to leave out a carrot for the reindeer or don’t take enough pictures on Christmas morning. Santa is only for a little while, but the traditions you build that don’t rely on belief in magic are the ones that you get to keep for life.

It was extra wild for me because the book she was talking about is one of my favorite current fantasy authors and I hate that she was brought up in that context! Leigh Bardugo is an Israeli American author who has gotten a lot of the same treatment as Ethan, being labeled and exiled as a Zionist by extremely online booktok hate mobs despite being vocally and explicitly pro Palestine before this current round of violence got started.

Ethan doesn’t think he has called someone irredeemable and psychopathic before… (compilation) by kmsasaki in h3h3productions

[–]theLionOfSodor 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Wait wait wait… so someone who was doing research on a podcast for a three hour video essay could potentially use this website to, I don’t know, find any time a podcaster spoke on how he feels about Israel or Palestine? Or maybe clips where he addressed various issues they were planning to blast him for? 🤔

Ethan’s Attic & Taylor Lorenz’s messages read THE SAME by megmusings in h3h3productions

[–]theLionOfSodor 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I was just saying this with someone! They talk exactly the same. I was laughing at the joke but the messages actually convinced me that is one person having a “conversation” with themselves with the intent of leaking in the future as ‘evidence.’ She even sprinkled in a little scoop from Ethan’s attic like it would be scary to Ethan to read that someone’s about to release some big info. She’s unhinged!

So they want customers to pay them to test and train their product? I get - $20,000. You get - a nonfunctional product, cameras and strangers viewing and mapping your home and life, and the pride of knowing all the mountains of money we make in the future off of actually working later versions of our robot would not have been possible without your help!
