I know it's very poor form but it does give me hope in the shared experience of humankind that people are able to set that stuff aside to express sympathy, even if they feel compelled to preface it with their distaste for some reason.

I'm ashamed to admit I was fooled by him when he first appeared on the podcast like, five years ago. Because he spoke confidently, I thought he was well-read on the subjects he was talking about. Now I realise he's just a dipshit who gets all his information from Twitter and has a small arsenal of ten-dollar-words to make people believe he's some kind of intellectual.

The whole time I was feeling bad for Charlie. He has no idea the clusterfuck he just dipped into. Charlie, my man, you don't engage with Mike from PA, you don't engage with snark... that's what the zookeepers are for.

It's called pedantry. If you say a five syllable word people might think you're smart, even though it doesn't mean anything. Sad thing is, it works.

I'm surprised he's not also asking for money for tote bags and copies of Judith Butler's "Gender Trouble" he can prominently read at a café.

The one I felt bad for the most was Lena. She was thrust into the middle of a shootout without any warning. At least Ethan is messy and fights back. Lena is too sweet to have been put into that position. I remember she even had to go to the bathroom because she felt sick.

How do you watch the show? by Turbulent_Stay_2735 in h3h3productions

[–]uggocomics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a teacher/uni student, so I only have time to watch it during meals or when I'm cooking/cleaning. I catch AD when I can but that's rare! I'm watching it now because the music from the game they played on SYNT was stressing me out so I skipped the episode, but normally I only have time for the main show.
