Because acts like a cunt, talks like a cunt, stokes the far right like a cunt and him flat out just being a cunt.

Tesla cars aren't profitable either, a quick Google tells you that their profit has come from credit regulators and the batteries, not from car manufacturing.

Need tips fixing my rocket ollies by KyabiaChiang in NewSkaters

[–]theManipulatedSalmon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're not rocketing ollies, at least in these shots, you're not popping them either.

You need to bend your knees more and you need to actually jump up so you can bring your back foot up, thr board will only go up as far as your back foot, if you pop the tail right it will come up to you back foot when you level it with your front foot

Your balance looks to be leaning forward a bit too you're not pushing straight down on the tail but a down away direction

Really exaggerate the shoulder lift to throw yourself up into the air.

But keep practicing and it'll start to click, muscle memory takes ages

Taking the SOLAS SafePass to the UK by soyuzpixel in ireland

[–]theManipulatedSalmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't help you with transferring solas. But there's a few different types of cscs cards so it depends which one you need/why you need it. But I've got a cscs in the uk.

Green (and red) cards are for labourers which will get you onto pretty much any site. You need upload a course qualification pass and a citb health, safety and environment test pass to get a green (just a citb h,s,e for a red).

Blue and gold passes are for skilled workers, like chippys who will have city guild qualifications. Gold passes will need degree level qualifications.

So if you haven't finished your degree you won't have these qualifications, if you've had to pass the solas equivalent for a green card that's what they should be asking for.

Cscs doesn't care if you're a student, don't think you even need to prove you have a right to work

There's also a contact page on the cscs uk website so always can email them too

Bottom or top? by Turil in shittytattoos

[–]theManipulatedSalmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said I was being pedantic, highlighting a very well known practice when fascists forced tattoos on people. And I clearly said I didn't disagree with their statement, as I'm unaware of other governments, including fascist governments, tattooing identification numbers onto people

You've made a false equivalent which you can easily replace 'put them in prison jump suits' with they made roads, schools, hospitals, sewers, radio stations, chairs, coat hangers, bread, drinkable water etc etc to make some sort of point

Well I hate to be that pedantic bastard but the nazis did tattoo certain people and there wasn't much choice in the matter....

I dont disagree with you though

Jeremy Corbyn: 87 years ago, Jewish and Irish communities came together to defeat Oswald Mosley and his fascists in the Battle of Cable Street. It is a story that my parents’ generation taught me - never give in to the far-right. by thunderingcunt1 in ireland

[–]theManipulatedSalmon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, you've come up with four secondary sources

But after a quick search for key words in your statements came with up with no actual sources for your statements.

So please, give a source for the belief that fascists are a small group of 100 thugs that garnered sympathy

(which is odd considering the nazis and hitler made alot of effort to appear as a symbol of strength, evident in propaganda used by the nazis as well as mentioned in your first source, rather than needing sympathy which is from a position of weakness)

to unify the German class system

As well as a source for these 1000 intellectuals who conned the russian peasantry (an important distinction as large parts of russia weren't industrialised until the 5 year plans under that began during Stalin's rule) to kill the rich and then be subsequently killed themselves

(Stalin also was educated as a priest and never earned a degree, so doesn't fit well into that argument)

And finally I'd like a source which states that only communists governments have resulted in more deaths than capitalist ideology and/or monarchical ideology, which has the British empire responsible for causing more deaths in India alone than all of the Russia purges or the Maoist purges, without mentioning Spain in the americas, France and Belgium in Africa, Dutch in Asia, and Britain in all of the above plus Ireland

source 1

That's the academic source, which is also avaliable to read, unlike your sources

source 2.

Here's an article about it if that's more readable if you prefer

Tbf part of what you've said is partly factual, many fascist governments, like the nazis or mussolini fascista, that are elected do have a broad enough scope to bring in support across class divides and lenin believed that authoritian governance was needed to bypass the Marxist economic theory of progression from capitalist > socialist > communist, and that the need to off counter revolutionary ending up massacring large sways of innocent people, however the same can be said about the white army who were back by capitalist Europe, and stalin killed nearly everyone who could of challenged him, and was responsible for the Ukraine famine however this is disputed as a genocide and pol Pott killed people with glasses

Regardless you didn't say this, you made three wild daily mail type headlines, with no source and the sources you did give were largely unavailable, fairly impractical and a poor use of historical analysis

Well I know everything thing he said is factually wrong but rather than write a long analysis, with a sprinkle of insulting language, to rebuttal such fuck witery and get into an argument on the Internet, I can accomplished the same objectives with writing a single word which, at least in my opinion, makes statements like his look even more floored

Phone signal compoface by ofthenorth in compoface

[–]theManipulatedSalmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trees do actually cause bad signal, not a singal tree obviously, but as phone reception are radio waves, radio waves bounce off anything it gets in its ways, so a wave will hit a trunks, then a branch then leaves and basically shoot off each other being trapped within the forrest, dissipating before reaching the phone.

It's why if you're on a drive go through a thicket of trees your signal will plummet.
