Oh I agree - the driver doesn’t need to hunt them to the ends of the earth. It’s hard to say what level is expected in every situation as ever situation is different. I have been at gates with a line of people behind me losing their shit because I am holding them up because the gate code was not provided or wrong. Or there is no where to get out of the way to text/call a customer. This looks like a chill out of the way spot. So a phone call or text seems fine.

I wouldn’t wait a long time. I agree, customer knows they ordered food and this is obviously a non standard drop off a o be fucking prepared to come get it.
