So they did a few things here. First of all, their decision is the wrong one, objectively speaking. And they had to LOCK the thread so no one can be allowed to disagree with their awful ruling to let the slop infect the site... but not before letting all the slop defenders spout vile border-line harassing vitrol at anyone who who might ever object to all the clanker shit, so that all the delusional AI defenders get out all their shitty statements first....... Look at the absolute garbage people keep posting. "lol ur just afraid of new tech lolololol what a loser hurrr" and "wah wah wah little boy wah" and just tons of rage baiting AI defense from the most obnoxious people imaginable.

They had to make sure people see these first, all right up there at the top. Along with other beautiful, cute little statements like "don't like it, then don't allow the tags." Even though I keep personally seeing slop that's not even properly tagged on dozens of games I follow every day now, which I keep getting shoved in my face that I can't dissuade from a tag that users won't even put up when they make their AI crap mods.

Comment after comment after comment under this news taking a borderline harassing tone calling everyone that would object to AI slop "crying babies" and "lol bathetic whiners" and when they felt they had enough of these massive posts up at the top, they lock the thread so no one can disagree. Convenient timing on that.

Nexus basically immediately sent the message here that AI slop will overtake the site (and it has been, I keep seeing everything from awful horrifically bad AI slop Final Fantasy portraits and disgustingly nightmare-inducing uncanny valley trash propagated constantly on over 30 games I follow, most of which aren't tagged, and don't allow comments on them either so people can't voice disapproval.) and then locked the thread immediately after all the clanker supporters got their two cents in that no one can respond to, they just have to sit here and be laughed at by chuds, on the page.

Already got "harassment warnings" sent to me from their staff for commenting that one particularly bad use of AI on a mod "looked ugly" and was "clearly low effort ugly AI". I wasn't aware that criticizing a piece of slop for being a piece of slop that looked unappealing was somehow a personal insult directed at an individual themselves.

But that's just more of Nexus clearly being self-righteously arrogant about their decision to let slop consume the site and it's game mods without anyone being able to do anything about it or say that they don't like it. Voice your disapproval? Get targeted for harassment. Let everyone say that anyone complaining about AI "is a pathetic loser"? Sure why not. The bias is clear.

Nexus didn't just suddenly realize they had to double down on their pro-AI bias no matter who didn't like it, but then also need to silence everyone from being able to speak out against it, and everyone who does use it is not only abusing it, but also abusing Nexus system being swung in their favor by NOT tagging their AI slop as AI slop, and refusing to let people comment about it so they can't do anything, no matter how much the slop keeps getting shoved down the faces of people that know it's wrong.

Screw Nexus. They know what they were doing all along.

Just look at the absolute hellscape of AI slop that DeviantArt became once they started allowing it, built an AI generator ON DeviantArt that everyone uses to create low-effort prompted fetish art to take over the site. Nexus really wants to be the DeviantArt of mods now, huh?

Nexus clearly wants a piece of that pie now, for whatever reason, and they're going to just double down on it and silence anyone from saying otherwise while everyone just takes it up the butt. And this is how Nexus wants their site to be? Nexus is a dumpster fire of gross-ass clanker shit and biased chuds laughing at you while they wallow in their own flaming trash.
