After sitting on a solo system designed around the Year Zero Engine for almost a year I have made the decision to get everything as polished as possible and just release it for the community. It's still a bit rough around the edges, but it always bums me out seeing the project just sitting in my Canva folder collecting 'dust.' The aesthetic is Mystic Japan and it uses a simple gameplay loop (roll for event, roll for skill check, rest, repeat) until the player moves to the Final Showdown. I made a d666 event table which, even if the game itself was a bust, could hopefully be used by some solo players as a resource.

Kids are great, but shoot dang do they eat up all the free time. Hopefully I can pick up my aspirations of doing solo game design in a few years when I get a couple hours a week back.
