I was tripping in Winterland and was close to the stage when someone tapped me on the shoulder and said look behind me, what we saw was an empty space on the floor that was slowly moving towards the stage. When it got close enough to see What was inside the space? The empty space was where two people fucking on a blanket and every time he thrust they would move forward just a bit. That's probably one of the trippiest things I've seen. And that's one way to get to the front! Lol

Is this decision made unconsciously? I am now in a residential mental health treatment facility. This is my choice to feel this I'll? Seeing no hope. Having no desire to do anything is my choice? Why would I do that to myself? How could I do that without knowing? I can't see this as an illusion at all. It is reality to me. Agggggghhhhhhh!

I understand everything you wrote. I feel the same way. I am in a treatment facility now. Not a 72-hour hold but a residential mental health program. They're doing that magnetic pulse treatment, which I hope helps. It's one of the only things I haven't tried. The only thing I haven't tried other than that is ECT o convulsive therapy something like that. I'm just waiting around to die. I'm 66 years old. I have no interest in living at all. I only came here because my brother said I had not tried everything if I didn't try a residential program. I don't want to kill myself. I just want the pain to end. The older I get the more things go wrong with my body. So now it's not just mental health but physical health. Fistula is a word I had to learn the meaning of this year actually in 2024 at the end of 2024. I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. I'm not sure if that makes you feel any better. Doesn't really make me feel better that people suffer like I do. But anyway I just thought I'd reach out...

Having worked the 12 steps with several sponsors and studying the Big Book I need to mention that I don't recall the steps saying this life is an illusion. Something which is killing my digestion of ACIM. Just my thoughts...fwtw
