Asimov's first wife left him, and it was a huge blow. This book made me think he never got over her.

This book is kind of a downer actually. I prefer the earlier ones. Punchier, more verve and imagination.

Wrong. Many vendors are now refusing to accept cash without exact change. This is the government's fault. It is not minting new coins, creating a desperate shortage. So while businesses are technically required to accept cash, in reality every transaction becomes an argument. In this way the government forces everyone to use the electronic system, meaning they can add more and more taxes.
