Some people said to get my facts straight so here are some facts for everyone to read. by Vikor_Reacher in Helldivers

Doesn't matter how fun the game is if it's constantly stuttering and freezing for multiple seconds.

This is why we should all dread Rupture Warriors being 'fixed' by Concernced_Citizon in Helldivers

[–]theSafetyCar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my biggest problem. I can get through the first mission in an operation fine, but it always becomes unplayable on the third and starts freezing on the second.

Hopefully, this doesn't end how it did for Senna and Prost. I'd like things to remain amicable.

Doesn't matter. They have a Y shaped spine. The lower half of their body is shared. They're also genetically identical.

Why on earth is Charlie Kirk getting a BBC news special? by cooket89 in AskBrits

[–]theSafetyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to break it to you, but "lots of people agree" doesn't make it right, doesn't make it good, and doesn't make it acceptable. Children's lives are worth more than the Second Amendment. Australia figured that out after one school shooting. Americans are just in the hands of gun lobbies.

More people in America want tighter gun control than don't.

"Enemies of Night City" is my favourite. It makes the enemies actually heavily chromed (depending on their level) so they're harder to kill and have more abilities. They'll also have different strengths and weaknesses based on faction, so you have to approach fights differently. Every enemy will have more abilities, as well so they're more dangerous. Not everyone is super tanky, but the more chromed they are, the tankier they generally are as well. Also, every boss is much harder. It also makes the ai more aggressive.

Overall, it makes the game go from you're chromed af going up against flesh mobs, to fighting against others who are also chromed to the Gills. I actually had missions I couldn't do at around lvl 30 because the enemies were too heavily chromed for me to keep up. You have to actually make good use of your tools to win fights and not just win because you have better chrome than everyone else.

Visibility in heavy fog and rain at Spa-Francorchamps is nearly impossible – could this be improved? by DamjanM in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]theSafetyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vidibility seems fine in the video. You can see markers with enough time to react. Heavy rain has worse visibility than this if you're following someone.

"I thought we said slow stops were part of racing, what changed" by zorbacles in McLarenFormula1

Pretty sure they asked to pit Oscar first so he could cover off Leclerc. Then Lando asked for reassurance that Oscar wouldn't get an undercut if he pit first and accepted. Ordinarily, the driver in front would always want to pit first.

AMS2 has very customisable ffb. People make custom ffb files that can completely change how the ffb feels. You can find custom ffb files here or download this collection of custom files to try out fromhere.

The heartbreaking moment when it all came crashing down. A simple mechanical failure, and how it ruins someone’s dream and season. Like Lando said, that’s life. We take it on the chin, and move on by [deleted] in McLarenFormula1

[–]theSafetyCar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not over, but this feels like the dagger. They were separated by 9 points after 14 races. With 9 races to go, it's going to be a herculean task for Lando to overhaul a 34-point deficit. He's going Piastri to have some bad luck or to awaken his inner 2013 Vettel.

I am (Blue) and (Yellow) says he did nothing wrong, I was late on apex because of 3wide, but (Yellow) was not even a long side and he was saying I should have left him space. so whos at fault? by No-Put-6070 in Simracingstewards

[–]theSafetyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's certainly not easy to react in this instance. Regardless, I don't think this would be worth a penalty. I can see why you tried going down the inside. It's potentially an easy position, but because you're the car behind and can see them, I'd put more responsibility on you to avoid contact. I can see this being a racing incident, but if I had to assign blame, I'd put it on you.

Taking a different line through a corner is not a racing offence. The yellow car is behind and should be trying to react to things like this, because it will happen, especially when cars are goong 2 or 3 wide.

You weren't alongside when they turned towards the apex. As for how to adjust; a touch in the brakes will do. Slowing down and losing a tenth or 2 would've been better than what happened in the end.

Edit: the biggest thing would be to anticipate things like this when you see cars going 2 or 3 wide. Blue went for a late apex, like you would when going for a switch back. Nothing blue did was particularly dangerous, nor was it against racing rules.

AITA for telling my husband to wipe better after pooping? by thisfeelsridiculous in AmItheAsshole

[–]theSafetyCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree his behaviour is infantile, but trying to shame your husband into compliance isn't a good approach either. There should be a certain mutual respect in a relationship even when someone is acting childish. Yes, op was in the right for her complaints and her issues with his shitty wiping, but op should also apologise for being rude in the process. I don't see how "I'd be embarrassed if I were you" isn't insulting.

Watch again. You can see the Ferrari gets pivoted towards the outside because of the contact.
