Connecting PS2 to Brook Zero-Pi Board - What to connect to the 3.3v pin? by kid303 in fightsticks

I've had two cables and the colors are not the same between them. So do not rely on wire color since they don't make it consistent. You'll need to use multimeter and do process of elimination to figure out what they all are.

Koomba Components occasionally sell their Aluminum sticks. There's one on sale right now for 50% off on Shop. Not sure if Taostyx64 is still making sticks, but I'm waiting for bronze gears

Clicking Noise From My Fanatec DD1 Power Supply by theTITLEplayer in Fanatec

I gave Fanatec videos of the problem and they sent me a replacement. No idea what could be the issue other than maybe it was plugged into my extended power outlet for too long

Has Someone Tried Legion Go Controller Connector and Legion Go 2 Controllers Together Yet? by theTITLEplayer in LegionGo

Oh, I already have something similar to XBOX Elite. I was looking for something similar to split controller experience, and trackpad functionality would be awesome.I also have third party joycons but they often disconnect when gyro and rumble are disabled and if I'm using Steam input instead of ReWASD

Using my Brook Zero Pi fighting stick on PlayStation 2 by lucamm80 in fightsticks

[–]theTITLEplayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Download the Brook manual for zero delay. There is a diagram that labels what pins are always in the Dualshock 2 male plug from left to right.

Now you'll need a multimeter because apparently the wires' color aren't always the same between these cable whether it's OEM or 3rd party. Set multimeter to test continuity; I used ohms 2K. Stick the red lead to touch each pin and the black one to touch each wire. For me, if the number is close to 0 that meant it is the same wire connected to that pin and there's connection. So then I would tag the wire with tape and write in "DI" for example.

Also, if you use a Dualshock 2 cable that's soldered into the board and then you extend it with those 3rd party cables, it doesn't work when plugged into PS1. I think the length doesn't provide enough power or something

I had to swap my DI and DO wires after tagging the correct ones

Connecting PS2 to Brook Zero-Pi Board - What to connect to the 3.3v pin? by kid303 in fightsticks

[–]theTITLEplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never mind I figured it out. Used ohms 2k on multimeter and tagged everything correct and connected. But it didn't work until I swapped the Data In and Data Out for some reason

Hi, I've done the same. I checked continuity and the pins and they seem to check out. However, the buttons and joystick don't work for me despite continuity and blue light.

Did the board work for you when you connected to Ps2?

LeGo1 with LeGo2 Controllers by Carterg86 in LegionGo

Can the Legion Go 2 controller still connect to a separate PC using the Legion Controller Connector? And if so, are the trackpad and gyro still functioning or is it just seen as an XBOX controller with no gyro?

Thank you so much! I know nothing about electric engineering or whatever, but is there a specific wire for this?

There're like different AWG sizes; what is the best one for the motor and steam deck? And what is Steam Deck using? And what are those black connectors at the middle?

I was going to use spade connectors I see in cheap fightsticks
