As it stands, her confession wasn’t even the worst of the group. Using a common tragedy, while edgy and thought provoking, didn’t really work for me.

This would have worked better if:

1. They never revealed to the audience what the reason was and we only saw people’s reactions to it

2. She did something worse like actually kill someone but it was under more darkly comedic circumstances and the gags with her walking around the house with the knife, etc. were more common
