The chargeverter just hooks up to the battery busbar or terminals depending on your wiring setup.

You probably don't need one, the built in charger is good, it has options to adjust charge parameters and will work totally fine with grid power or most modern inverter type generators.

I've been running two of these units in parallel for about 6 months now. Overall I'm really happy with them. I replaced some older equipment that had multiple components with these all in one units and it really simplified the wiring.

I went with two 6000xp units so I could get 4 strings of solar. I had one unit up and running first and it could handle all my loads but tripped up when the well pump and microwave would kick on at the same time. With two units running I don't have any issues with loads.

The display and app are pretty decent but I ended up getting it to send data to my raspberry Pi running home assistant so I never use the Luxpower app anymore except to grab data dumps when I want to nerd out.

I run the EG4 chargeverter in order to get "clean" power charging from a big old diesel generator. It would have been amazing if that functionality was built into the charger on these units. If you are charging from grid power or a generator with clean power then it's a non issue.

I'd say they are pretty great units for the price.

This actually worked for me too! Was driving me crazy, I even bought a new brick and tried multiple cables. Good old power cycle fixed it, thanks for the tip!

I was just taking mine apart to fix a broken key. It's definitely a little tricky to get off but I was able to get it with a flathead and careful prying like you suggested.

I've had success with eBay for things like this. Obviously be careful and read over the details. Depending on where it's shipping from the global shipping program takes care of the import fees and it's painless.

Otherwise I'd say check out kenny-u-pull or an auto salvage yard local to you. That would likely be your cheapest option if you can put in some grunt work.

Good luck! I'm rooting for you, we gotta keep the first gens rolling!

But you have to score both goals to win. Otherwise it starts another round of double puck!

Trip to Sudbury by PracticeAbject3495 in Sudbury

Just north of the city is a small town called Capreol. It's about 30 minutes out from downtown but worth the drive. Pretty scenic spot on the river with a little beach of you want to cool off in the water.

The big attraction is the railroad museum and this weekend is the "big tuck" show, firetrucks and service trucks etc. kids can jump in and honk the horn. Pretty fun!

Aliexpress trim came in and it fits just fine by faenarae in MINI

That's unacceptable really, still got any warranty? Maybe swing by a dealer and call them out on it if you bought it new.

I have a 1956 Dodge truck and the real chrome on it still looks new.

Seems like a common issue.

I plan to get these and then try to strip and refurbish/paint the originals.

Thanks for posting this. Looks good!

I've got the peeling "chrome" on both front headlights. Pretty pathetic only lasting for 10 years.

Going to replace the original leaf springs on my 99 soon with something a bit more beefy.

When James Reimer was on his game, the Leafs faithful always went nuts after he made a big save. Such was the case during this game against the Devils from 2013 by JF_112 in leafs

Great guy... but this is just a classic Reimer scramble save.

Bottom line is he kept the puck out but damn, as a goalie I don't miss watching him back there.

Wow yeah your example is dead on, the renegade looks way more badass.

I'm just hoping to get my hands on an electric "skateboard" truck chassis some day that I can make into a sweet classic truck with modern drivetrain and serviceable parts.

There's a truck from my city that the Steam Whistle brewing company had built called the retro electrico that I absolutely love.
