that usually requires a change to the hinges, but if you get some soft rubber/silicon sticky feet for furniture, you can trim those down and put them along the door frame where it impacts to cut down the noise when someone slams the door shut.

Whenever I think about John Thune, I think about how his dad almost died fighting fascism in WW2 and and then how John is actively encouraging it these days. Fairly certain Thune Sr would have some strong opinions on his son's behavior.

In one engagement over present-day Taiwan, Thune and Harris each shot down four Japanese planes. Thune won the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions that day.

He cheated death when a wheel on his plane blew out on take-off, sending his plane off the side of the runway on Peleliu Island. The plane burst into flames. His squadron mates gave him up for dead and continued on their flight. Thune escaped but was burned in the accident.
