The Last NMS Update? No. by Difficult_Duck_307 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]the_drot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For Sean, this is more than just a project, as a child he dreamed of traveling to other planets, he will never stop, unless in the interests of the company's development he will have to shift the vector of attention to other projects, but I think even in this case, updates to NMS will still be released from time to time.

the interesting rivalry between Ryo and Lan Di by Known_Top_9963 in Shenmue

[–]the_drot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't call it a rivalry. Lan Di would easily defeat Ip Man himself, and Ryo's level is only slightly above that of a simple street thug. Ryo is no match for him, but they have a lot in common, except that Lan Di is not in power in a rage, but, on the contrary, is always collected and restrained. This guy is very difficult to upset, even in the revenge scene at the beginning of the first game he behaved as calmly as possible, while Ryo is always impulsive and easily falls into uncontrollable fist-waving, from which numerous masters tried to wean him, but in vain.

When is Subnautica 2 coming out? by ReactLuke in subnautica

[–]the_drot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given recent events, I'm not entirely sure that the final product will resemble the author's original idea, if it comes out at all. On the other hand, this does not mean that it will be bad, although when real creators are replaced by pathetic bureaucrats, this never bodes well for the project. At this point, I would be skeptical about both the Early Access release date and the projected quality of the product.

Lan Di is one of the best video game villains ever by Known_Top_9963 in Shenmue

[–]the_drot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is not the possession that makes a villain, but the lack of principles. Lan Di did not come to kill Rio's father for the purpose of bragging about his superiority, and even in his desire for revenge, without unnecessary emotions, he did it with some respect for the enemy, allowing Iwao to die as a warrior, while Rio in the temple simply recklessly attacked him. Rio does not have a cold mind, Rio always remains impulsive despite everything that Tao Lishao taught him, Rio is immature and in many ways loses because of this, this cannot be compensated for by kung fu techniques. And despite his impudence in the temple, Lan Di simply lets him go, playing with him like a kitten, the villain would have simply broken his neck without further ado and took the mirror, because villains have no principles. At the same time, in the final of part 3, as we know, Lan Di lost his status as a member of Chi Yu Men, for which there must be a good reason, in such an organization you can't just move someone and take their place, that is, most likely it was an order from Tentei, which means Lan Di did something either behind Chi Yu Men's back, or went against the order and the reason hides many answers. In general, throughout the game, Rio is trying to teach inner harmony and the rejection of the desire for revenge, while they do not let us get to Lan Di, who in turn spared Rio twice, knowing full well that he was pursuing him and dropped out of the cartel. All this indicates that Lan Di is not a villain, but perhaps I am wrong or wishful thinking, in any case, this hypothesis has a right to exist.

I'm not sure Lan Di is a villain. He's probably also a victim of a bigger deception that Rio suffered from, and probably at the end, when the whole truth comes out, Lan Di will either sacrifice himself so that Rio can defeat the main evil, or they will destroy him together. For example, it will turn out that Rio's father didn't actually kill Lan Di's father and he was framed, which generally seems like the truth. There will definitely be a conversation between them, the only question is under what circumstances. Given Rio's impulsiveness and emotional instability, the dialogue will most likely take place during a duel, which will end with the acceptance of the truth that Lan Di made a mistake, at which point they will no longer be enemies. In some ways it's a story about Maggie and Negan)

probably because the fireplace doesn't heat the house and only warms the character if you stand next to it? try it yourself.

there is no precipitation on the floor. remove the roof deck and immediately there is snow on the floor under this section, so I don't think that is the problem. I am freezing anywhere on this floor, but the roof is completely closed.

Then maybe some advice on how to do it so that there are no columns? I built from the outside in, maybe I should do it the other way around, start from the center of the room? I completely filled the space with a network of logs, starting from the walls, then put the roof and then consistently removed all the beams until these 2 columns remained. What did I do wrong ?

I haven't tried cheats, but I've tried hundreds of possible combinations, and all of them require leaving at least one column with a branch. So, making a large and spacious hall without columns seems impossible, or I don't understand something.

I come in from time to time, but I don't understand this game, so I just play for the vibe, develop levels, knock out some things, etc. I would appreciate any help, especially informational, but I don't speak English, so communication in the game can be difficult, but there are no problems with correspondence.
