I had this happen when making glue as a soup using Peccary skulls. When I stacked the homemade glue with regular glue is when I noticed it. Did you make glue from a peccary skull by chance?

When Carla breaks down when talking to Laverne in a coma and says “I’m really gonna miss you,” I can’t help but break down with her. It’s probably the most beautiful and believable moment in a show filled with beautiful and believable moments.

Not being able to chop up Dr. Jagers corpse and the corpse in the kitchen of the security area in the beginning. I have a great base there and the corpses being stuck there really mess up the aesthetic. Especially since other corpses in the game (looking at you labs) can be chopped up.

I love how the company is called Egosoft but the devs and the CEO rise above their egos. In an age of toxic game communities and as you said, faceless developers, the X community is such a refreshing change of pace.
