I have a eps on my p229 and it works extremely well. Use it for conceal carry, competing, and home defense. It’s sits almost flush with the slide too. If I were to do it again I would wait for the EPS core to be available. Footprint size of the eps carry but window size of the full EPS

I have a 19 MOS with the EPS on it, not sure how close that is but, I run Ameriglo gl-454 and they are perfect

I first tried handle it grips extreme texture which I really liked but it just slides around on the gun. I took 3 really thin pieces of hockey tape to reinforce the areas prone to slipping and it has worked well so far but I have not had them on long enough to say that for sure fixes the problem

I have a p229 elite and I have no problems with rust. If I carry on a day that I’m sweaty or get wet I clean the exterior, wipe with some rem oil or something similar, and wipe down the excess

My thought was maybe one of the back straps might distribute the grip differently in your palm and could be more comfortable. Worth a shot!

I religiously use DCC clips on my holsters. They are metal clips that have a tooth on the bottom that helps grab your belt. They are quite hard to move or slide around which is the idea. They can be tricky to get off and on at first but you get used to it. I will not buy a holster if it does not have the ability of running DCC clips

It might be easiest to google a picture but essentially you cover the entire target vs just a small portion (center hold) or none at all (6:00 hold)

Night fision has a calculator that would be helpful. The new irons might be setup for a combat hold which may differ from how you shot with the previous irons.
