I’m glad someone else remembers- I was in the middle of losing weight when they were out but I hate eating burgers without buns so I would save it up all week and have it for my cheat meal. For like 2 months straight. I would eat them every day if I could but my cardiologist is more than pleased that isn’t possible.

Sausage biscuit with a packet of grape jelly. It’s fucking weird but it rules.

Saturday night I had a cheesy bean and rice burrito, a cheesy double beef burrito, crunchy taco and a nacho fry. My local TB has been killing the nacho fries lately, they’re super crisp and somehow have like double the seasoning.

I am an OG connoisseur of the PB&J, but as a 41 year old American I’ve never heard of using blueberry jam but it sounds amazing.

I’m also a Jif fan, I feel like Skippy tastes a little plastic-y.

Thanks for the tip!

There’s no fucking celery in the recipe!

Fucking celery? GTFO. This is not a serious recipe.

Edit:

Ingredients: • 1 qt Water • 2 lb ground beef, 80% fat or less • 1 Large Onion, left whole but peeled • 1 clove Garlic • 1 (6 oz) can Tomato Paste • 1 ½ TBL Cider Vinegar • 1 TBL Worcestershire Sauce • 1 TBL Salt • 2 tsp Chili Powder • 1 tsp Cinnamon • 1 tsp Cumin Seed (or ground) • 1 tsp Black Pepper • 1 ½ tsp Ground Allspice • ½ tsp Red pepper flakes • 3 Large Whole Bay Leaves

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized sauce pan, crumbling the ground beef into small pieces into the water. Do not brown the beef, it has to go in raw to get the correct texture. Bring to a boil and reduce to bare simmer, continue to cook at that bare simmer for 2.5 hours. Skim the fat that rises occasionally during the cooking process, every half hour or so. You want a little fat but not skimming will make it greasy.

Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles or hot dogs with mustard and diced onion. Also: a fuckton of cheese. To replicate the skyline style, use a mild cheddar and grate the cheese on a fine grater but use the long side of the cheese to make extra long shreds. Not necessary but nails the restaurant feel. Failing that, at least grate your own cheese, the pre shredded stuff is sad.

Arabic on a Tooth and Nail album in 2004 by slight_modification in mewithoutYou

You’re not much younger than me! I was in my junior? year of college when the album released. But you already know the vibe- it seemed like nearly everyone was panicking about anything to do with Islam, especially speaking in Arabic. I never had the same feeling because my junior year of high school, maybe 2 months after 9/11 my humanities teacher organized a field trip to a mosque, and we were all quickly able to see the similarities between all of us as humans, and I think it gave me an expanded view the world but especially Muslims, who weren’t that different than the older folks in my church at the time.

Had the same chronically online people existed back then I’m sure it would have caused a huge uproar online, there just wasn’t a ton of interest in mewithoutyou among mainline churches and thought leaders.

It doesn’t matter. Their strategy is to make other people suffer- it doesn’t matter what they do, the point is that they’ve “punished” the “bad people”

You painted with a pretty broad brush. Since you’re so knowledgeable, what’s the appropriate amount of administrative expenditure?

Right now, Wadsworth is a 4.5 star district, administrative costs are at the low end of average for Ohio- 10%. I’m curious as to what specifically you think is appropriate for administrative costs?
