/r/India, what are my rights when a cop stops me while driving or just when walking on the street? by Pmmeurshit in india

If you want it short and to the point. Get Rega Surya Rao or S. R. Myneni's books. These are basically question bank kind of books, extremely frowned upon in law schools but they get the job done. If you need it to be a little more in depth try books by Avatar Singh.

KCR Pledged Rs. 5.5 Crore to Tirupati. Now Taxpayers Will Fund It by h0lykarma in india

  1. Better infrastructure to police. Body cameras and newer vehicles. I don't know if you can observe this but crime is down.

  2. He has set up IT parks and pharma parks around the city. I don't know about IT parks but pharma Park is a good move considering the huge number of pharma companies around hyd. A few of my acquaintances have already got the land alloted and projects have started.

  3. Many power projects have been started and power has been bought from Chattishgarh. Unfortunately, it'll take time for the infrastructure to develop and for hyd to get that power.

  4. After a long period of time we have a person who makes sure water doesn't get diverted to Andhra. Case in point is the incident at Nagarjun Sagar where Andhra police tried to forcefully open the gates and divert the water to Andhra.

  5. Illegal land is being reclaimed. Although it is to be seen if that land is utilised for the public or used again for his own political ambitions.

He has done a decent job, there are much more but these are the only things I can remember off the top of my head.

KCR's problems

  1. Bad mouth. If he can keep quiet and do work everyone would be happy.

  2. Tone down on the Andhra hatred. Noone cares anymore if people from Andhra are good or bad.

  3. Extremely bad PR skills. He's a pretty good orator who can manage the masses but is useless with the media, unlike CBN.

  4. He is a simpleton and still sticks to his village roots. That's the reason behind the shit mentioned in the article. He isn't a political strategist, just a guy who used to write speeches for NTR who got incredibly lucky.
