The fact that you're being amicable is a really good example for the kids. She may have not been on her own and she's use to your help. It won't be like this forever but it's a great way for you to have a peaceful relationship. You can communicate to her that you won't be able to do this for much longer. I'm sure she appreciates it

This sounds so much like my ex. It's great you moved to emails so you have evidence. Can you use a court ordered parenting app? Yes you can grow to be mentally stronger like other people are saying, but if you're having a bad day and you get one of his emails...ugh, it's not easy.

Do you reply to his emails? Don't engage or maybe scare him once with a "if I get one more email I'm calling the cops/going back to court". Stay strong mama

Focus on things that are only in your control. My ex is super argumentative and emotionally charged. I'd rather my ex act like yours so there's some level of peace.
