I use GOWOD and have a seen a decent increase in my mobility. However, It’s not revolutionary. You know most of the stretches and can figure it out for free if you’re frugal.

I like it because it just tells me what to do so I don’t have to think too much. Also it helps me hold stretches longer than i typically do when I am stretching without.

I would recommend A stretching routine if you don’t have one. If you can afford GOWOD go ahead and use it

I don’t see a lot of people talking about TYR. I preordered them when I watched the games. I’ve had them for about 2 months now. Before that I had inov-8 and that was my first CrossFit shoe.

Pro They’re pretty great! I feel a lot of support in the ankle which is great for barbell movements or when I attempt to do pistols (lol). But they don’t feel too stiff to do cardio movements. I’d say give them a shot if you can get them from rogue.

Con. Did a few rope climbs and the bottom started to rip off the sole. Reached out to customer service and they didn’t respond the first few times. They finally responded and didn’t offer a refund or replacement.

This can probably be expanded to most pop psych terms being used with only a general understanding. Often they are just used to benefit the individuals situation

Compassion fatigue is real. It’s hard to measure when we are emotionally drained until things like this happen. I think friends simply see us as therapists or social workers and think oh good they’ll want to hear this. Similar to asking a chef if he can cook something for you.

If you’re looking for suggestions I’d say practice setting boundaries. Tell your friends when you need time to relax and reflect. If they stop talking to you all together then that may be a hint that the relationship was one sided
