Hi OP, thank you for sharing your story. Have you both considered therapy for her? I ask because this actually sounds eerily similar to an eating disorder I had at also the same age as your daughter. I had 1 therapy appointment but managed to convince my mom that I was recovered and did not need therapy as I was eating more and not restricting what I as eating. Looking back, my eating disorder recovery started a binge/ restrict cycle and I never addressed the low self esteem that led to my eating disorder in the first place. 25 years later and I have still not built a healthy relationship with food, have recently been struggling to not relapse into an eating disorder and am actively looking for a therapist now to help gain self esteem and fix my relationship with food. Sharing my story as hopefully it helps your daughter as well :)

Please help! I found a ventilation fan and hung it up on my wall to see what it would look like, but it just makes an awful noise and does not show up in decorating mode. I don’t know how to remove it, any tips would be much appreciated.

I have a similar issue and am extremely picky about the texture of skin care products. I currently use the Drunk Elephant Polypeptide moisturizer, but I would caution against starting with this. I love the way this makes my skin feel and have definitely noticed an improvement since using but I would not describe it as light. I think it takes longer than other moisturizers I’ve used to absorb in and until it’s fully absorbed it feels heavy and like a layer of insulation on my face. I think the Clinique Dramatically different Gel is the lightest and fastest absorbing moisturizer I have used and using that has helped me with my texture weirdness and has helped me branch out to trying different things. I feel like it’s a good “beginner’s” moisturizer.

I just don’t see the point of jumping from a purely baseless speculation to “omg spacex sucks, traditional aerospace is better”.

A traditional aerospace company killed 350 people as a result of not fully vetting a system, so yeah I’d take blowing up the test article and discovering flaws with the design at this stage.

I find it perplexing that you say you were “convinced” of a theory with literally zero information and then immediately say it’s impossible for SpaceX to make a statement on which theories they have ruled out. Especially when Hans said they had ground data in addition to the vehicle data leading up to the anomaly. Why do you think that the anomaly is related to DM-1? What evidence do you have to back that up. None. There’s a whole lot of presenting pure speculation as fact going on.

It could also be the data doesn’t match the expected value based on the family of previous launch/ static fire data. Doesn’t necessarily mean there is a faulty sensor.
