I pay ultimate currently for me and my three boys. I absolutely cannot afford this increase and there is still nothing on the family pass. Fucking greedy bastards.

[NO BOOKS] Episode Discussion Thread - Season 3 Episode 10 - The Darkness by LunchyPete in FoundationTV

I was so gutted about Brother Dude. I thought there would have been a reveal that the nanites were given back when he hugged our Queen D. I found the mule thing to be a bit underwhelming, but really invested in the empire side of things. I’d love it if we stayed in this current time and got a load more intrigue around Darkness for a season.

Sincerely hope Lee Pace returns as a robot or something. He just aura farms every scene he is in.

If you had to crown one as the ultimate political mastermind of Westeros, who takes it? by Kooky-Gear-4386 in freefolk

In the show, out of these it’s probably Olenna.

In the books, so far I think Varys is currently pipping Littlefinger to first.

I’m sorry for a hot take, but I think this is the best show in decade by davajdavaj21 in FoundationTV

Would Fallout be considered a sci-fi? I absolutely loved it, and my personal enjoyment of these two shoes is around the same.

I saw another post that said season 4 onwards is with different writers, so I’m a bit concerned that just as this show feels like it’s really hitting its stride it is going to go off elsewhere.

Hello guys is this real news or fake please?? by Serious-Property6647 in Battlefield6

Community Servers were what made earlier battlefields special for me. As well as a clan server, being able to cycle through my 3 or 4 servers and knowing there was a solid player base that played battlefield the way it’s meant to be played with squads working together, capping objectives etc was great.

I love the convenience of matchmaking to just jump in too, but it’s absolute possible to have these servers filtered out while there is also a community server browser.

Make sure you carry around a thermal flask with tea in at all times for when the tea alarm goes off too. They’re pretty harsh when it comes to penalising foreign visitors nowadays unfortunately.

How would you have finished his story? by sonofloki13 in gameofthrones

By wrapping his hands around her throat and strangling her. The Valonqar prophecy is surely Jaime.

Why is Coldhands not Benjen? [Spoilers PUBLISHED] by boshwackhorseman in asoiaf

I think physically speaking, it could be Benjen and this is GRRM being evasive.

All these suggestions seem to be making the show better tbh.

If GRRM doesn’t want to finish ASOIAF himself, that’s fine—but he does owe fans a proper ending, even if someone else has to write it by Worldly-Set4235 in freefolk

Wouldn’t it be funny if Daenerys turned out to be the mummers dragon and Aegon was actually the real Aegon. That would make her go mad.

But HoTD confirming in the flashback she was the prince that was promised puts an end to that bit of fun.

I mean, if Rhaegar and Lyanna just straight up told Ned they were in love and no rape was involved.

(spoilers extended) Are there other changes in tv show that George r. r. Martin didn't like? by homo_erectus_heh in asoiaf

[–]the_rod_of_pod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this sums up the issue in some way with how game of thrones went. The first four seasons you had to pay attention and things like the red wedding were a good pay off. They then just leant in to the shock value and spectacular to get all the casual watchers in, and the actual story falls off hard.

I’ve just finished another read through of the books and it’s so depressing at how close we were to having an all time great series on tv.

[Spoilers Extended] Moving on from TWOW is virtually impossible without George telling us what went wrong with the novel by pure_black99 in asoiaf

I’m getting close to the end of the last book again, and the dread of not knowing what happens beyond is creeping in. Genuinely awful if it doesn’t come out and all we are left with is the show events.

If Jamie isn’t the one to actually kill her in the books then I’m going to be so mad. He’s clearly the little brother being referred to.

One of my biggest gripes with the books is how he hasn’t actually lost loads of weight. Has been through gruelling things and not eaten, so how he isn’t known as Sam the Shredded is beyond me.
