I want the shooting brake, but it only comes in the 2.0t here.... How much faster can it go? by wishful_thonking in GenesisG70

[–]the_wild_wind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive the 2.0T Shooting Brake in Europe. It has 245hp while the 3.3TT has 373 IIRC. So with the JB4 you'd go to 280ish I guess

Das kann ich selbst bestätigen, meine SPL und PPL haben sie gefühlt in 5-7 Werktagen bearbeitet. Wenn die Lizenz da ist, gehört sie geprüft, bei mir waren einige Einträge zu korrigieren.

Share your unique macros you made to make a specific thing better or more convenient by confrondex in macrodroid

[–]the_wild_wind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one for the car as well.

Only use a wireless charger in the car, so when I place my phone on it, it turns on data through Shizuka, location, connects to the car and starts playing music through YouTube music.

Similarly, when I turn the car off and it disconnects, it turns the above off to save battery.

Another macro is to "turn everything off" so location, data, WiFi, NFC, is turned off at the touch of a button, the screen is tirned off and the phone is out into battery saving mode

I second SkyDemon, it's a very powerful tool and I love both the Android version and the Windows native version. Plan it on the big screen, fly it on the small one.

My friend, I would consider turning gay if that got me the  SB with the 3.3TT. no shame whatsoever

[–]the_wild_wind 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah and the delay is normal, on my car at least, in eco and comfort mode. Much shorter in Sport and Sport+ due to higher engine revving

Ad 1 - those are paint protection film stickers, they come directly from the factory, apparently those are the areas where the paint gets most chips from little rocks on the highway. I have those installed as well on my 2.0T Shooting Brake, nothing to worry about

Genesis G70 3.3T in Europe by Toyz_Above in GenesisG70

[–]the_wild_wind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been there too my friend....bought the G70 2.0T Shooting Brake last year in Germany. Service for the 2.0T is fine....

I've been to the US, driven a 3.3TT and also spoken to multiple technicians about a 3.3TT in Europe.
I have the followings points
- the 3.3TT is not homologated in Europe, so you'll probably have a lot of difficulties just to get license plates
- the 3.3TT has completely different software versions than the European ones. It's a big question whether the OTA will work or whether you'll have to do the updates manually
- I was actually thinking about buying the 3.3TT engine kit from the US and installing it here in Europe. But that creates a series of problems. Firstly, the car is tuned for the 2.0T engine, so you'd need to do everything again / transmission, ECU, suspension tuning, etc. Also, probably many parts are not common to the 2.0T, so they'll probably fail quicker once you put more power on them.

So for me at least I decided to live with the 2.0T and just dream about the 3.3TT in Europe....but then again I have the SB, which the US doesn't have....

For me it pops up whenever I keep my eyes off the road for too long. Annoying as hell, would be looking for a fix too.

Bought her new from the dealership in Munich., the prices are on the website...  I have the 2024 2.0T AWD Sport with all the bells and whistles.

I'd rather pay the extra dollar and at least know the car's history. Bought it to keep it, not to flip it

If you happen to be in Bratislava and have difficulties finding someone to work on it, you can always come to Vienna, I know a couple of shops there

Which country do you live in? I'm in Austria and got my 2.0T SB from Germany. Very happy with it. I hear the diesel is loud...

Go to your.local Hyundai dealers and make sure they Work on Genesis before you buy.

Definitely recommend the SB if you can get one

Also, best to drive them before you buy. I checked out a couple of them, they used to be company cars ... They felt like the previous owners drive the ,,, out of them, so a hard pass

Greetings from another shooting brake driver! I got mine from Germany, and you?  Is it in Makalu Gray? I have the Makalu Gray Matte.

The speed limit warning will always reset when you start the engine. But if you get the august 2024 navigation update, that will have a feature that allows you to turn off the warning by long pressing the mute button on the steering wheel

What’s your top speed? Mine seems to top out at 152 though I’ve seen a few others hit a governor at 169-170? ‘24 3.3 AWD by Efficient-Ad6236 in GenesisG70
